Hi, I’m new to the game and I was wondering if a melee/caster build is possible for cleric (or other jobs).
I started cleric>krivis and I wanna build on that cause I really like krivis but I wanna add some melee, what should I do? (mostly gvg and pve).
splitting into a melee/caster hybrid wil likely be gimmicky but shouldent be imposible , but i dont think it wil be toptier and for pvp you dont have alot of cc so if you are cought its likely over
altho i would go with somethig like this: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/xt8zf687a7/ went with paladin as this has som pretty high basedamage melee skils and one of the largest aoe rate skils in turn undead aswel as short cd with overheat and good party buffs
the kirvis plays in on this quite nicely with an magic based aoe aswel as support and divine stigma that increases both str and int your main stats you wil want
also went with cleric rank 2 for more heal tiles you are a healer afterall as wel as 20 hits on safety zone and divine might which pumps your skill levels and thus support or dps on demand

You can do 3priest, chaplain, kriv, pd.
It isn’t -that- bad, kriv gives 2 more statuses for PD’s incinerate and has some utility with PD+Daino (Yes I’m aware daino scrolls are a thing)
How about some sort of krivis monk or pally full melee, can it be done with the krivis suport skills? I’m already c1>k1 and I wanna keep going can I turn that into a melee or should I go full caster. If full caster is druid the best option?
Kriv/Monk isn’t too great. What you could do is go up to Kriv 2, then straight paladin up to c3.
C3 gives you conviction which strongly lowers the target’s elemental resistance which lets zaibas hit really hard. Also makes Smite do 3 hits versus 1. As for your rank 7 you can decide to go PD or Kabbalist or maybe cleric 2.
