I currently have the following build order thus far
swordie C3 > Highlander C1
my plan is to do the following
swordie C3 > Highlander C2 > Doppelsoeldner C2
following this build that i have made
any suggestions past highlander C1?
Are you planning to PVP with it?
Max Skyliner, that’s one of the best highlander skills but it was nerfed, still does a decent damage though!
more so on the PvE side but i would like PvP as an option with this build.
I don’t reallly know how this would work out on pvp scenario but on pve sword3 provides very little uses. You could reroll if you like, or probably wait on a reply to people who actually tried the build, but I would reroll if this is more on pve.

Sword3 is for full pvp builds.

Sword3>High1>Corsair1>Dopp2 here. I can say the 1 rank in highlander is just for utility since you get Cross Guard for face tanking physical attacks and on a successful block enemy is binded/rooted (can’t move). This sets you up for CC opportunities like Hook or Knockdown followed by DPS skills. Cross Guard also scales heavily with STR so you can look forward to at least 1k block @ lvl 5 if you built a good amount of STR. You also have Crown to set the enemy INT/SPR to 1 which is pretty awesome if it manages to go through.
Just my opinion, Highlander is one of those classes where if you go C2 you must commit to C3. Stronger Skyliner + Skull Swing for PvE.
I would reconsider your rank 5 class. Corsair for hook if you want to 1v1 PvP / Jolly Roger for PvE or Pelt for SwashB. and utility skills like Guardian.
thank you for reply. Wow i didn’t see that corsair could be that cool. I just saw the pirate part and completely ignore it. Gald to see it isn’t all meh.
on a side note, swordies are soo trash when compared to other dps classes. why does the commmunity want swordies to pick up pelt just for one skill is beyond me. I really hope they do a future patch to fix this.,
I mean we do have that bonus to HP which I think swordies should take advantage off. Pelt helps boost that advantage and if you have a shield pop Guardian buff and you have evade boost if you have decent dex to go with block from C Guard. Hop1 would synergize well with finestra granting additional block. It’s a prime way to stay alive in a fight.Turtle and look for a chance-suu. Lol

Get Corsair if you’re gonna PVP.
i think i am going to go after highlander pelt 1 then dopp 2. might be lacking but at least i am going to survive most of the time.
