May I ask does this method count as a Bot or wrong against game rule?

I have been using this method since the very beginning.
I play c3 archer. I gave max skill points to kneeling shot for more range and damage. I bring 2 50 cent coins. The first one, I put it between X and C button in my keyboard for auto attack. The second, I put it between Tab and Q for auto changing targets. I leave my character at farming spot whenever I don’t have time to play. I auto attack. I get lvl 170. Even if my weapon dulability is down to 0 i can keep this going on. I can keep lvling without hacking the game or use any special program that’s wrong against game rules or loss my life time playing this game.

So does this count as a Bot or wrong?

Yes it is considered botting.

Point well made, and with humorous style.

Oh boy…

Yeah, it is.
And if you think you are losing time by playing this game, why are you even here?

Not gonna lie, ive reported at least 4 or 5 kneeling shot archers just because i happened across them right in a spawn area i need to do a quest. RIP. Infact 3 of them were all in gitis settlement, the other was killing panto’s.

they call that method Z-Botting here in forums.

other than that i dont know if its bannable or not but if its on a location where people need to do questing then they will report you for botting.

Ignore previous comments. No staff member has given an outright statement about this to confirm it’s a ban offence.

People are just salty over it but no your not using a 3rd party program so the “bot” isn’t playing your character for you.

It’s automatization of the game process, which should be punishable. Same as bot, only difference in software. Bots are using soft, you use coins. Bots and players like you interfere with legit players almost equally.
Lets say you get reported as a bot. When devs will check the logs of your character, they will see that your character is standing for 12 hours p day in one spot killing mobs without moving. You may be banned or may not. Its up to you to take that risk. Just dont cry on forum if you get banned.

  1. I think it should be considered bannable offense, but there has not been any official statement on this. Also nobody seems to be able to find anything in the terms of service, rules or FAQs that makes it bannable. Also I like your humorous approach to this question

  2. If you put stones on your “Z” and “TAB” keys, only one of them will be spammed by the keyboard. So either you do have two keyboards (not tested if this works, though), or you are in fact using a macro and just try to hide it with the “I stuck both keys” argument…

Aye, looks like an offender playing the victim card again

What if he has a mechanical keyboard? I think the game lets you switch targets while attacking, no?

Hey, guys. I programmed a robot to push tab and z for me at specified intervals. Is this botting? I didn’t use any extra software on my PC, so it shouldn’t be.
