So I read that appraiser can increase the amount of sockets on gears by 100% meaning that the maximum amount of socket on a legendary weapon would be 6, however everywhere I search they say it’s 4, which one is true ?
The max is 4, and I think only affect certain gear, not sure if they implemented to all of them, for 2h weapons is easier to get that tho.
I have a 1h Lv 170 sword from HG with 4 socs on it that I’m using on my hacka.

Appraise a legend weapon ?
Here what I know.
-Appraiser is use to identifie - Unindentifie weapon/armor from Hunting ground (HG).
-Purple is the highest weapon/armor rarity you can get from HG
-4 socket is the max I saw on a weapon

They can’t increase it.
They can identify the items from Hunting Grounds, and when they identify there is a random chance of increasing the number of sockets. But the amount isn’t unlimited, and it’s more or less random. The skill doesn’t specify any % of chances, it just states that the higher the level, the higher the chances of getting extra sockets.
4 sockets is also the max I’ve seen.

As far as i am aware, Swords are the only ones that can get 3 or 4 slots, while the other items i’ve never seen over 2 sockets.

Only sword (1h & 2h) have max 4 slot
Other’s just 2
