But since Token will always be togheter with tos… A 3 day event token should be given to the first Character of a new acc that achives Rank 3.
IMC should work harder to hunt bots. More gm’s running arround the game. And more gm’s lurking the reports.

You’re missing the point a bit. The question is IF it turns out to be more effective then we think, then we should reevaluate our position. And just because there are some bots, it doesn’t mean there are 10 more were banned or rendered ineffective. That’s really it, I’m just advocating keeping an open mind to the situation.
I like this, in addition to the original suggested changes. It gives the added benefit of showing people what they get from a token, but not for too long. They get a taste of the emotes and fun side of it too, but they don’t get it for too long before it gets boring to them.
I don’t necessarily think that “more GMs running around the game” is a sensible use of anyone’s time. There’s no need for a staff member to have a physical character in the game to spectate players. If spectator mode exists in pvp, spectator mode exists outside too.
If players can see a GM, botters can see a GM and automatically stop botting. As others have mentioned previously - there are some bots that automatically exit the game or switch channels if a player gets close to them. You have to view them privately.
Also. That gif is fake. That’s not even real cardboard, it’s CGI. There’s nothing holding it up, the shadows/lighting don’t match the real shadows or rest of the light in the room, and the tracking is bad which makes it slide around weirdly. We live in an age where it is EASIER to make a CGI fake video than it is to make a real cardboard cutout.

I agree.
It is however a balance. If all the F2P players went away from the game tomorrow, all the paying players also would too. Both need to be treated well.
As for tokens on the market. IMC are capable of supplementing that and may already be doing so.
Regardless on the specifics of the changes, it’s obvious they should be lessened and quickly. The population increase continues to hold steady and IMC could capitalise on it.
Yeah it hasn’t really declined yet but will if they don’t learn what momentum is.
Speaking of that… I strongly feel like all of their updates should be in video format. Every update that has been in video format has also been an update that increased population.
Now, that could simply be because they only bother making videos for major updates. But I also feel like it’s much more shareable, more likely to actually get viewed, and more likely to drive discussion.

Even though I’m a fan of the plain text I do agree. It’s not like each Dossier has to have one, just a recap of the past few. Plus who doesn’t like new emotes?
Yeah. I just checked, I’m not exaggerating at all, checking their youtube channel and any update that had a population increase also had a youtube video for it.
It definitely gets things shared around and discussed a lot more than the text ones do. Probably helps that they also watched a nice video of some cute gameplay with music that sets an emotional mood too.
The Youtube videos and Facebook posts both garnered some attention. Much of the initial increase of players was propelled by the Silute relocation, but based on the player stats the South American players have decreased proportionally since the big push, which means at least part of the sustained growth has come from other regions. I think this suggests the hype you’re referring to, it’ll be interesting to see if the growth is long term.
