Why even tell us it’s fixed?
I still want to know what the endgame was there

little reminder the wall/trees cut away bug is still not fixed since January.

Please fix this. it is driving me crazy not having maps explored. Walking around in the dark in maps is beyond annoying.

I confirm this is not fixed. Only NEW characters are not affected. Please fix.

I confirm, only new characters aren’t affected by the bug. fix pls :c

I left my templar in either klaip or fed for the duration the bug has been known (he lives off mission runs, also the event dungeon). I took him out post maintenance, going to the royal mausoleum (to run a friend). All the maps were fine on this character alone, and I suspect it’s because the towns didn’t initiate the map completion bug. For this one character.

Finally the map 0% exploration bug is fixed, but OF COURSE we have to go re-explore all our maps again.

So let me see if I understand this…

If between the time the 0% map bug started and this patch, you never went to any maps you’d previously 100% explored, those maps are fine.

If between those times, you DID go to any maps, and did a little bit of exploring, then left the map and never returned to it, so that the 0% bug didn’t clear it again, THAT PROGRESS was snap-shotted and is your new “default” after this patch.

If after this patch you DO NOT 100% any of these maps in #2, they will revert to their “snapshot” default rather than 0%, essentially erasing any progress you just made that wasn’t 100%

does that mean they lost some of the map exploration data…I have to go explore maps on all my alts again?
Any maps your alts were on during the time mentioned in #1, yes, those will have to be re-explored. Use your World Map to determine which maps those are.
I also love the new effect of the client freezing for 2 seconds the moment you 100% a map.

Wrong, that does not accurately reflect your actual “map exploration data,” that’s just the adventure journal data that tells you whether or not you’ve claimed a card for it. Trust me, everything says 100% in my journal, but there are a lot of maps I’m still in the process of re-exploring.

well, for me there is no reason to re-100% the maps after i claimed those maps’s exp cards reward. just IMO. i deleted my misleading post above. sorry
It’s not so far from being an OCD thing, but really it’s the fact that if I’m going through a map I’ve been to before, or I’m reviewing my world map to give a guildie directions, I should be able to see every inch of that map, damn it.

Let’s get this situation under control already. Tell someone over there to write a script to clear map data for every map a character has 100% on in their Adventure Journal.

How about stop shitting and just clear maps by yourself? They fixed that issue with no saving map exploration. And looks like they was need to reset all maps for this. Stop being so jerk.

I think the problem was their confusing wording. They said they fixed maps showing up as unexplored in the World Map, which is correct (or partially correct depending on how the unexplored bug works.) If you check here: https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=929 They still haven’t removed the actual maps becoming unexplored part of the bug, I guess they only fixed part of it.
