When you try to use a portal to go to another map, it’s really annoying how long it takes until the game understand this action and transport you to another map, sometimes it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to it recognize this attempt and start charging the next map, showing that loadscreen.

True… I spent like 20 seconds to change map sometimes
I noticed something similar, whenever I clicked on a Goddess Statue to teleport, I would need to click a second time on it and then it would start working .
I put this down to lag, but there is indeed a delay. Sometimes a long delay.
On the other side of this problem, Sometimes it is ridiculously easy to accidentally go through the portal you just came from. Some kind of confirmation delay when you arrive on a map would not be a bad idea but I can see the complaints against it.
