Mana series and tos

I was just walking around the topics here, and i found something really interesting.
A guy was asking about the name of the game and stuff.
And Mana lore seems to have inspired or maybe it is just a huge coincidence.

I know and understand that both are completely different games.
So don’t worry, i wont compare anything.
I just loved the Mana lore and something alike is very interesting.

If any of you have played the “sword of mana” for gba. Just in the intro, you will see that the Goddess of mana made a tree to give life to all life forms.

In ToS there are more goddesses and the tree is very different. It invaded.
But in both lore the “goddess/goddesses” stopped talking to people, so they began to forget, and some believing it was a myth.

Oh man, we could go far here.

I love Legend of Mana. I even put the tree as my background when you click on my name haha. Btw yes somewhat similar but… “magical” trees in mythologies are quite common I think. ( the biblical tree, yggdrasil etc. ) Btw Legend of Mana had beautifully drawn graphics too… that’s a similarity to me too.

one of the main reasons y i was so interested in ToS is because of how it reminded me of mana games since snes so yea i do find them sort of similar to each other i also played children of mana

I played every game from final fantasy adventure till dawn of mana (which is a piece of pure bullcrap).

The art is not the same, but feels familiar. Even the gameplay seems somewhat familiar too.
I’m very excited about it just because of that.
Squareenix(formally squaresoft) doesn’t care about its old titles anymore, that is why i’m here.

Yggdrasil/Weakening of Yggdrasil mythos is where all of this stems from. Mana wasn’t the ones who came up with it. ^ ^Though I am a fan of the series myself.
