Making new cleric build

hi, im making a new character for cleric. im planning to make = Cleric > Priest > Priest > Paladin > Priest > Pardoner > Chaplain. i the reason that i take paladin in rank 4 is to make me bit easier in solo battle. i think its safe to say that its easier to level up till rank 4. i want to ask what stats should i go for? or should i change the build? should i take cleric 2?
thanks

I think its best to get Cleric 2. The mob numbers and their damage will only increase further as you level up, so I think only having 1 circle of Cleric will be difficult even if you have Mass Heal.

If you’ve read a couple threads on the forums, you may have seen that Priests had a buff with their Blessing, which scales off Int and Spr ( I cant remember the calculation, it may be (INTx0.02 + SPRx0.06)(Skill lvl -1)? Don’t quote me on that).

What are you trying to become anyway?

Going Paladin 1 rank for Damage is waste. Cleric>Priest3>Chaplain could basically do this job. Get yourself a cafrisun set + arde dagger + sacra + last rites + blessing and you’ll do a hell lot of damage. Even without str it will be fairly easy for you to solo at least until rank 6. Besides there’s a lot of build listed here so try and read and figure out what you like.

I’d recommend same as kidsanity, going Pally1 only for solo dmg is a waste imo. Chaplain can handle that.

I’d just note that Chaplain dmg actually falls off pretty hard endgame atm… but it is definitely sufficient for solo, and can bring good support endgame with Capella.

whats the pardoner for?

to pardon sinners I guess.

whats the pardoner for?
Discerning Evil maybe?

he got no good debuff.

If you want to solo, then just go Chaplain directly. It’s great for soloing, why do you think all bots take that build?

he got no good debuff.
Still great for party support.

They probably meant the Pardoner there for making money, though (for which you’d need c2 for Spell Shop with that build, and even then it’s still horrible money).

Taking Chaplain pretty much narrows your stat choices considerably as Aspergillum will be your main dmg. And Chaplain is your dmg class so Aspergillum requires Int therefore it would be considerably better to go an Int build. You will probably also want to pick up Krivis for a Dot AoE to help level plus to increase your parties max buff count. If you do this you may want to also consider dropping some points into SPR but its not required for the Crit buff.

I would recommend getting a Rank 6/7 class as their all fairly OP and almost all of them would fit terrifically with this build.

(Free) Recommend Krivis C1 > P C3 > Chap C1 > Kabbalist C1 for a melee/spell damage build
(Free) Recommend Krivis C1 > P C3 > Chap C1 > Plague Doc C1 for additional support in both PvE and PvP
(Free) Recommend Krivis C1 > P C3 > Chap C1 > Oracle C1 for some added benifits to group play/ pvp

Kabbalist adds an amazing AoE dmg spell, plus a strong reflect skill, and potentially the ability to double someones life/instant full mana pool.

Plague Doctor is heavy support and can add a considerable amount of damage with its conflagration probably your best choice here if you go for an Int build as it will scale but so does Kabbalist just a longer cooldown.

Oracle gives a counter spell that wipes out player spells its really strong in PvP and also adds some interesting farming possibilities. Mostly just food for thought.

Aspersion, and therefore Aspergellium also scales with Spr.

I thought that might be the case well there you go. SPR build would be best.

i see. thanks guys for the help. right now im doing chaplain. im already lvl 150. thanks very much. good thing is i dont take pally haha.
