In many events, x1 Exp tomes are offered as a reward daily.
In the most recent event it was 1 x4 (1day) exp tome every day + 1 x1 Exp tome (14day) as additional price. I don’t think anyone selected the x1 Exp tome (14day) because it’s not craftable into a better version.
My suggestion is either make event tomes craftable into permament ones, or at least make them craftable into better versions of themselves, even if they expire in 14 days.
ie. 4 x1Exp tomes(14day) resulting in a x4Exp tome (14day) and 2 x4Exptomes(14day) resulting in 1x8Exp tome (14days). Resetting the timer each time they’re crafted into a newer one.
This would also help in that some people would choose to spend right away while others would choose to save, breaking party synchronization and saturation of common grinding channels (even if for a bit).
I still believe the best option would be to craft them into unexpireable ones but anything is better than receiving a completely useless x1Exp tome (14day).
