So I finally got the 5th class rank 2 days ago, and I became a Corsair.
I did some tests with the 1h sword + dagger vs 2h sword, using both Z and C to attack make it too slow, and if you use only Z or only C the damage is a lot lower than using 2h sword, and I did the tests with lvl 120 1h sword + dagger vs lvl 75 2h sword.
It just makes no sense for a dual wielding class to do better with a 2h sword than with the proper 1h sword + dagger.
Pretty sure you need the Corsair C2 skill: Double Weapon Assault for that.
That’s right, the only useful skills corsair get are at C2.
and thats so sad… they need to fix that too…
Yeah, the Double Weapon Assault is what I want but I think it should be the standard for dual wielding without the need of a skill, or at least make the skill be C1, not C2. The problem is corsair is a dw class, and till you can use this skill you will do better with a 2h-sword which makes no sense, maybe the 2h-sword are just too strong atm. Even if you spam ZCZCZCZCZC… you can’t just keep attacking.
