Make a P2P server if i will no spent 1 centime in the game!

Thanke Goldie for translate my message i copy past here thanke again.

The TP advantages aren’t negligible at all.

First, if we look at the marketplace, free players can only sell 1 item at a time, with a 30% fee while the buyer can put 15 items with 10%.
For example, if we say they’re gonna sell their items for 100 silvers each, after 3 days the free player will make 70Sx3 = 210 silver, the buyer will make 90Sx15 = 1350. It’s almost 6 times more than the free player.

So if the free player wants to get 1350 silvers, he’ll need 6 more days, so 18 days total, to earn about the same amount.
If we replace days by months, what the buyer will get in 3 months the free player will need 1 year and 6 months.

Secondly, with the +30% exp boost if the 2 players want 30 000 000 000 exp (with grind only) and this amount is worth the level 200 for a free player, the player with the 30% boost will get 9 000 000 000 more exp.
Which means the one with the boost will get the base 30MM around level 140 but won’t be level 140. It’s as if he’d farmed 140 levels but he ends up being 200 thanks to the +30%.

TP really have non-negligible advantages.
But of course they’re limited monthly and need a subscription.
Everything we do costs TP, it then gets multiplied by the number of alts/2nd char you have, and the higher your level the more stuff you’ll have to do, and thus the more TP you’ll need.

If you start buying TP it’ll be endless since you’ll need more and more to keep your comfortable habits at higher level or/and with all your different characters.

That’s why a P2P would be much more better for us rather than a F2P with those transactions. It’s too much, it’s a scam.

From what I could painfully read you’re basically saying “Give me free TP because I won’t pay to support the server” right? #FreemiumService
If I’m wrong please correct me because no offence but it is a little hard read the points.

Exemple you have a limited tp each month, but if you need exp boots you need spend 9 tp = 30% exp boots for 1 hour.

if you play 20h 1 monch, you need 20*9 = 180 tp, but you don t need tp only for exp boots, for more dungeon, trade, AD, rez etc better play free then spend 1 centime, because you juste buy a limited advantage gameplay by month !

Dude.
“Problème”, are you French ?
You should send me your text in French in an MP, and I’ll translate XD

I believe you’re saying that you’d rather have a P2P server with everything “free” in it (no TP restriction) rather than having to pay for TP all the time ?
Because the more characters you have, the more TP you’ll have to buy in order to do everything, and it’ll cost too much ?
Or even that the higher your level, the more TP your character will need ?

Goldie yea that i tell !! you are very right ! and yea i m french.

So yeah. “I refuse to support this game financially but I want the same benefits as a paying player” Either pay for TP or grit your teeth I’m afraid

. . . Oh boy, I’m not drunk enough to read through french engrish. I can take brazilian engrish since I was born here and I can take japanese engrish because it’s funny, but french is just plain weird. :anguished:

I support the idea of a P2P server.

The only concern with P2P servers is the population is at risk of being extremely low.

I personally have always wondered why companies didn’t just merge the whole premium players playing on the F2P server, with the idea of Premiums not having a cash shop.

To explain better what I mean is:

For instance, the 1 month tokens (a.k.a premium tokens) ToS offers in its cash shop. Why not have the rewards of being a monthly subscriber be that all paywalls disappear for you?

Premiums can craft and use, but cannot trade the items found in the cash shop. For example, a premium alchemist can craft a exp boost item for all the avatars on their account. But they cannot sell or trade that exp boost to anyone else.

Of course it should take a reasonable amount of time to gather ingredients & to make. If a premium member is just extremely lazy they can still decide to buy from the IM if they are just that lazy. But technically, premiums have the ability to craft or farm everything found in the cash shop(a.k.a IM).

While anyone not paying a monthly subscription will have to buy it from the IM. Meaning if you are NOT a premium alchemist, you canNOT craft your own exp boost, nor farm any of the items found in IM.

Some people natuarally hate subscriptions, farming, and/or crafting. These people will support IM for this very reason.

While others enjoy gathering, crafting, & farming, and prefer subscriptions anyway as they prefer flat rates.

I am not sure why no game ever tries this, but it would easily encourage sales, without having to rely on trying to target whales and gambling addicts with RNG boxes and P2W nonsense.

Nice coment Morrigan, serious.

Oh, boy, I try to read too, but is unreadable. And I really consider my english poor. This is a english/spanish/portuguese/I DONT UNDERSTAND. OMG

They are saying they want the game to have a P2P server with no restrictions, the entire game open to them without all this, this costume works for only 1 character, and you can’t use AH x amount of times nonsense.

That is the gist of what they are saying.

He said he is french I believe. It is a bit hard to understand what they are saying, but they are in a nutshell asking for a better premium service.

If people are paying a monthly fee just give them the entire game without cash shop and restrictions. In other words a P2P server.

We don’t speak google translate, meng.

Who is meng?

Ok then, now I think I understand. Yeah, players with tokens have some non-negligible advantages and I can even see how you are going to need more TPs for your alts, but that’s just for the XP boosts and cosmetics (on this matter I believe you should be allowed to move stuff between your characters, I don’t like the idea of buying costume for every character you own).
I do believe Tokens are shared among all of your characters, so please correct me if I am wrong.

Good job translating his texts from french to english, you have done the community a great service. And I couldn’t help but wholeheartedly agree with this person. Separating the F2P and P2P players may not be a very good idea tho.

That being said, this video I think is describing the current situation with tree of savior quite well:

It’s just ridiculous when f2p games starting to get more expensive to play than p2p games.

I hope this game doesn’t become p2w, I have good expectations for it.
Also, thank you for the video, very good description of the flawed P2W system of many games out there (mobile too).
