Cataphract is known for their attribute to handle 2H Spear, but cannot use 1H Spear if they’re not from Hoplite branch, which I found kinda illogical seriously. They should be able to handle both spear types imo.
I think this thread mean about attribute to equip 1H spear.
Not about skill that can use for both 1H and 2H spear.
Because you can’t equip 1H spear with out attribute from Hoplite.
Btw I like an idea but I also think it’s fine as the way it is.
It’s like Cataphract are specialist to 2H spear while Hoplite are specialist to 1H spear.
If want to use those weapon then you have to advance to those job first to learn it.
so if i’m a master of the 2hander IRL that means i would instantly be a master of 1handers too? that’s not how it works mate…

Any human can pick up a spear and use not. Not master it, just using it.

look, im trying to say that cataphract should be able because its the same type of weapon, which is spear,

I looked closely, and the other hand seems to be holding to the reign of the mount.

Why not also argue something like why is Peltasta the only class to get manual blocking when every class can use shield.
