Mail vanishing earlier than what the mail says is the deadline to retrieve

Date and Time : 13/6/2016 (13:33 GMT+1)

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) : On login screen

Bug Description : Items handed out during last maintenance (4x 1 hour experience book) disappeared from mail, are no longer retrievable, are gone, no mail remains about it)

Long story short, you handed out 4 books i was going to redeem on my alt. They were redeemable until the 16th. Today is the 13th. 3 days left yet books have disappeared.

you could have redeem it earlier and not whine about it… such irony people we have

I have mailed support many times about this issue but they deny it exists.

@leeweizheng23
what is the irony here? define irony

@leeweizheng23 So because i have a job and no time to roll an alt right now means i can’t get stuff handed out for free which was supposed to be there for at least 2 more days ?

They were redeemable until the 12th. You’re reading the date format wrong.

Edit: as seen in this image the format is YY-MM-DD HH:MM. Server time zone is GMT-4 (EDT).

I’m kind of sad since I forgot to claim my tomes too, but they expired the night of 16-06-12 exactly like they were supposed to.

Roll an alt is as easy as taking up your 5 minutes. Create a class, type out the name. And transfer the mail item to the class inventory. You dont have 5 minutes to spare, you don’t deserve the mail compensation. Since you read it wrongly too. You could have avoided it and recieved it earlier thru your main since they can be switch between storage transfer

What kind of idiot uses that kind of time format ?

Unsurprisingly, Korea does. You might also want to check out ISO 8601 while you’re at it, it’s the best way to represent datestamps in a filesystem.

It’s non-standard to use a two-digit year instead of four, but if you take two seconds to think about it (hah) it’s obvious.
