Magical Attack = Range Attack?

i m not sure where i should ask this question so will put it here is a magical attack considered range attack?

For mage auto attack, Yes.

Nope
Ranged attacks from archer are still physical attacks and they are usually under the pierce type of damage category
While magical attacks have elements iirc but Iā€™m not sure if all actually are under an element

so the quarell shooter skill deploy pavise cannot block magical attacks?

I know this topic is pretty old, but i need to know if Deploy Pavise from Quarrel Shooter can block magic missiles and other non AoE magic skills.

Bosses shoot magic balls pretty often, will the Pavise help blocking those?
