I really miss having a magic swordman in this game, and introducing such class at R9 could balance things for swordman that want to pvp.
The main idea of the class would be tranposing Atk to Magic Atk with a buff, and their skill would be magic based.
This way they could build STR and have other classes that are Atk based, and switch to Magic when needed.
Or maybe, the buff could change their early ranks skills to deal magic damage instead of physical damage.
Do you guys have any good idea for a magic swordman?

I think that R9 should focus on classes that we still have missing.
For example, we still miss a dual wielding class to support corsair and a hyper tank.
Do we have end-game content that requires a tank tho?
You can go linker3 Thauma2 Enchanter with full str and appropriate gear and you ll hve your magic swordman 
Or improve peltasta to be the hyper tank
With the current damage formula, not at all.
With the new changes, now that you won’t be able to take 1 damage any longer, tanks or atleast bulky bruisers may become required for the upcoming content, depending on how it will be.
While I tend to be sceptical about everything IMC does… There should be some reasoning for Finestra: Physical Damage attribute.

I’m currently testing one (a few days to go before free reset pots expires), though an INT-DEX hybrid and builds a little different (Pyro2 Link1 instead of Pyro1 Link2).
Fun to play. Using sub-weapon attack needs getting used to especially in mouse mode because your character won’t automatically face the direction of the cursor when attacking with sub-weapon. You will have to manually position him first in the direction of the monster or fireball.
