It doesn’t make it hit one target, but you can kinda force it to hit 1 target by aiming a little off to the side with no mob.
this helps a bit, but the skill still misses sometimes. Especially if you’re a bit far from the target, then you misses all the shots from the skill.

That’s why i said a “bit” far, not “too”. i know if i’m too far the skill just shots randomly, that’s not the case coz when i tested it i was close enough from the target. And when you have a high ping you have to stay immobile in order to shoot the last missile, or if you move it will just not shot.
The missiles do not shoot individually. Its a cone based AOE. Once you hit the hotkey the skill has already applied damage to the monster within the cone. It doesn’t matter what happens as the missile travels.
I always did that, but it still miss from time to time. Yeah, it does increase the accuracy though.
You still completely miss magic missile when aiming with the cursor?
Sometimes, the condition is kinda unknown though. It doesn’t happen frequently.
The only time I miss completely when aiming is when there is lag. I know that because the monster will snap to a different location after I fire and miss.
Also when I aim and point another direction too quickly sometimes the lag will make it fire at the other direction instead.
The only problem left I have is that sometimes it fires 2 bolts instead of 3 even when the mob isn’t dead yet.
With the way this skill currently works.
I can’t burst down one enemy when there are other enemies nearby.
The missiles will just hit the other enemies.
This and the short range of this skill…
It can be risky during boss fights.
I have to use it like a shotgun.
Correct. It only burst down 1 when its the only one in the cone of fire (assuming it doesn’t bug out and fire 1-2 missile only).
