Trying to understand what Magic Amp is… is it like magic pen? When is Magic Amp better than Magic Attack or an Elemental Property?
Also bonus, if my weapon, hat etc has say +25 Ice Property does that just affect my auto attacks or does it also apply to spells and if so is it only matching element spells.
Magic amplification is rng magic attack.
50 Magic Amp will apply 0-50 damage to every magic attack
50 Magic attack will add 50 damage to every magic attack
50 INT will add 50 magic attack and therefore 50 damage
50 X property damage will add to any attack you make, physical or magical, and will be ± 50% depending on monster resistances
Elemental property damage will also be added to additional attacks, such as the one gained from the Enchant Fire buff, adding extra damage to auto attacks over skills.
so Magic Attack > INT > Magic Amp ?
Elemental>INT=Magic Attack>Magic Amp
Assuming whatever you’re fighting isn’t strong vs that brand of elemental damage.
Wow Magical Amp seems terrible then… are you sure that’s how it worked? I read something about percentages.
If that’s the case why would anyone use Magic Amp over Magic Attack when Magic Attack almost always rolls higher than Magical Amp on Hats etc.
This is 100% how it works, this game just has terrible mechanics in general.
