Nerf the five Hammer so end Game Gear can be viable
In a way they are with the new damage formula. Weapon damage will become way more important so a lv 40 weapon won’t cut it at higher lvs.
Actually, Five Hammer will be even buffed in the future.
The new KTOS test server stats of Five Hammer are :
120-132 patk
113 matk
+10 upgrade gives +48 matk and +48 patk
still has 5 slots and 5 AoE attack.
The weapon will fall off eventually at around level 240+, but it’s still safe to assume that unless they nerf the red gems, Five Hammer will stay relevant meta (good for the Cleric players). There would be nothing wrong with this if they didn’t introduce the Five Hammer drop from level 50 dungeon boss cubes, that’s the basic issue why this item is so strong/meta right now(actually farming the recipe and crafting it at level 40+ wasn’t that easy after all).
Maybe if it was limited only to Clerics it would help to promote other weaponry at least for Swordies and Wizzies 
Btw, Clerics will obviously go for a level 315 mace, because upgrading and transcending now affects both matk and patk of mace class weaponry.
Just look at the boosted base stats of e.g. Vienarazis Mace (basically the old substats but base patk was increased to 908-1003, matk now is 860 and the upgrade bonus got boosted even further: you get +197 matk&patk for upgrading it to +5 [safe level], which is equal to 1 stage of transcendence [+20% increase] for patk and 1,5 stages of transcendence for the matk value).
Now if you put a Five Hammer against that (+10, with let’s say 5x 6* Red Gems vs 2x 6* Red Gems +5 Vienarazis Mace) we have this picture:
Five Hammer:
Minimum patk: 120(base)+48(upgrade) = 168
Maximum patk: 132(base)+48(upgrade)+5x240(6* Red gems) = 1380
Minimum matk: 113(base)+48(upgrade) = 161
Maximum matk: 113(base)+48(upgrade)+5x240(6* Red gems) = 1361
Vienarazis Mace:
Minimum patk: 908(base)+168(weapon bstats)+197(upgrade) = 1373
Maximum patk: 1003(base)+320(weapon bstats)+197(upgrade)+2x240(6* Red gems) = 2000
Minimum matk: 860(base)+168(weapon bstats)+299(weapon INT) +197(upgrade) = 1524
Maximum matk: 860(base)+320(weapon bstats)+299(weapon INT) +197(upgrade)+2x240(6* Red gems)= 2156
This shows us that the clear advantage is with the 315 weaponry, as it’s at least 1,45 times better for the maximum attack and 8,17 times better in the minimum attack value. The averages are 767/713 (Five Hammer) vs. 1668/1840 (Vienarazis Mace), which is ± 2,2 times as much average attack power that gets multiplied with the skills new %-multiplier.
That’s why (even without transcending the item) Five Hammer will fall off hard and will never even be considered an alternative for endgaming as it is still currently on some Inquisitor builds…
That is a buff compared to OUR 5 hammer here in itos. Now compare THEIR 5 hammer to a lv 315 hammer in ktos.

I was using this hammer (multiple pcs due to low durability) on multiple toons BEFORE the gem update. Farming the mats and the rcp was EASY because it was obtainable in the world instead of dg’s and therefore not gated by the dg entry limit.
i also farmed my own five hammer before it was integrated in the dungeon 50 cube. the only hard thing to farm was mantiwood skin, mainly because the respawn rate is so low. but it’s not as hard as some dpk mats and recipes.
Just saying… remember that starting from lvl 70 upwards, the hunting grounds weapons AND armors will have an insane amount of slots… so Five hammer will be from 40-70 at most in ideal conditions of slotness
