Dungeon EXP in general falls off.
I can get comparable exp elsewhere then the 175 dungeon so long as there aren’t other people on the map.
Dungeons are nice in that you’re guaranteed some loot via the boss which
-
helps Sorcerers/Necros get boss cards for Card fusion.
-
Allows people to get Gear, good gear that is valuable and keeps you up to date on the power scale.
-
Give you a place to play with people if leveling maps are full.
Dungeons are dope early-game where players who haven’t progressed think they’re the holy grail of exp and yet later on you have mobs that give 8k exp compared to the dungeons 3/4k a mob.
160 wasn’t great but to be real I run instances more-so now because they’re casual places to meet people where you’re not (directly) competing for a spot on the map and 200’s are camping field bosses making it difficult for most people to get any loot off of them.
I think most of the people feeling the dungeon nerf from 5 to 3 runs were justified don’t see when dungeons exp per hour struggles to compete with a good grind on maps where (other people) are not present. EXP does not shoot up significantly in TOS and the same 790 exp you’re getting at level 40 killing mobs in Tenet basement…is what you’re getting from level 160 Bee’s in Dinahs Bee Farm, or you’re getting 900/1000 in other areas many of which have less spawns except for a few elites that give 6-8k in 2nd DP/Roxona.
ATM I’d say Dungeons are more lotteries for loot (excusing 50/90/115/132 especially since 50 loot is subpar) mid-late game and you have extremely limited runs why bother with the 160 dungeon when you’ll get more exp and more money (bar loot distribution issues).
Ended up not doing the 175 dungeon at one point because more practical exp was elsewhere lol.
