I am following a guide by JiggaJacks and now I’m at 155. The guide said not to use lvl 7 and 8 cards until lvl 160-165 so I didn’t use mine. The guide said nothing about how many lvl 7 cards he used at that point and what lvl did he reached after using it all. My question is what’s the best way to grind from 155-165? And how long would it take? Thanks.
I just got done with 155-162 ( i saved a ton of lv6 cards so i was able to pop em to 175 a bit sooner). I made sure to do 3 missions every day. That’s #1 priority. It was practically a full level up at that level.
I also did a couple 145 dungeons. It was still 60% base xp per run at level 159, but it’s pretty random whether you get in a good group. Also make sure your run isn’t bugged. Once I was in a run that wasn’t giving me the 600% bonus xp, which is a complete waste of time. The XP viewer addon makes checking this way easier.
After that I did some grinding in demon prison 2. Some of my friends also farmed at dina farm, but I went through a few days where I didn’t have spare grinding time, so I never did.
That’s my recommendation. If you want some freebie level 6 cards, go back to the level 6 maps, explore 100% and complete kill counts. That’s a perfectly valid alternative to grinding, and you need to be in the habit of doing that anyway for the lv7 and lv8 maps.
Honestly I’m not sure why 175 is the recommend level beyond the fact that it’s near R6 and a new dungeon opens up. The new dungeon xp is bad. It’s still looking like it’s going to be a rough grind all the way up to 186.

Are you following the same guide too? I completed all lvl 7 maps and now I have 200 lvl 7 cards with lvl 6 leftovers(about 15 pcs) and some lvl 8 cards. I’m not that active in dungeons because it’s hard to get in. But I make sure that I always finish the daily missions which gives exp cards. I might add that I always play with my brothers and a friend, we’re 4 in the party with each of the starting classes.
All guides are honestly outdated. I used cards frequently to hit the next quest line based on the map’s level, and never had to grind. I ran missions, and maybe like 3 dungeons total.

Ignore anything telling you that you have to be 5 levels to do a map.
As long as you can grab quests from that map (10 level range) You should be fine.

If there’s an exp wall, at least you’ll be level 225 (with missions, etc.)
Roughly, yeah. I’m level 178 now having used all of my level 7 cards and a big chunk of lv8 cards last night to reach necro.
At what level should you have no more lvl 8 cards?
