Hi, I’m currently a necromancer at lv240 and was wondering does the lv260 dungeon give bad exp (similar to the lv230 dungeon, which is terrible)? Because I am thinking on whether to pop my exp cards to go from lv240-260 so I can do the dungeon.
It’s basically the same in all dungeons. The best dungeon that gives good exp and silvers is 290 in my opinion. Dungeon 260 is a kinda like 140 and 170 dungeons but better map. You will likely be stucked there for a few runs till you reach exp curve reset on 281.
I suggest you run with players going storage. Grinding mobs it gives decent amount of EXP. Save your exp cards for later. Maybe 270-281.
When you reach 281, with a few dungeons and mercenary missions you could reach 290 which is <3.
Don’t forget event dungeons and Saalus convent
Peace out~
Thanks for the reply, do you know where I should grind from lv242-252, because I assume only at 252 you can do storage?
people actually can start storage at lv.242 and could stay here until lv.274 minimum until you can class advance, some people stay even longer lol
lv.260 dungeon exp is alot better than lv.230 but it doesn’t seem that good either.
I have a friend saying you could do alameth from 200 - 260. It would take long. But possible. Not many people do storage. And for me, based on experience, grinding mobs in alameth is faster. You could however do this:
Since your level is 240:
Do your dungeon/mission runs everyday.
Join alameth grind parties. (Til you reach level 250 or 260 up to you)
If an oppurtunity arises join Storage party.
When you reach 260,
Do your dungeons/mission runs everyday on 260 dungeon
Same thing do grind parties after you’ve consumed dungeon runs.
Do quests if you are not able to find parties.
By the time you reach 270, You could use exp cards to boost you up to 281 which hits the exp curve reset.
Do dungeons til you reach 290.
In terms of percentage, you wont see much of an increase running 260 compared to other dungeons. I rushed my alch to r8 on sunday, and it was kind of painfully slow relative to the previous dungeon pacing. One of the runs I did was on a 8x tome too, haha. I have awful memory, so I can’t recall exactly.
nonetheless, i do think it’s worth jumping into a run when you can. It’s less of an issue of the dungeon itself imo than the curve at that level.
what about 290 dungeon full runs? Is the exp any good?
^ THIS. Exp from full-running 260 dg feels small/slow because of the curve (which IIRC only resets at 287).
Your most time-saving options before that exp reset would be to find a fast storage party (Chrono + decent DPS members) to grind with, or do quests if you can’t find a party. Merc post missions are a nice filler but if queue is slow don’t wait too much and just give up.
YES! Especially when you just hit 290. Mobs are lv.295 IIRC so you can keep full-running it for exp until lv.315 optimally (I usually just quest from 315 to 317 so I can unlock the practonium quest within the day).
Of course you can still keep full-running it at 316+ not just for exp but for a chance at Artilonium and some cube recipes as well. Silver isn’t bad either.
