Low spec pc gamers

Hi, me and my friends are buying new notebooks(yeah, we are all buying together the same model), we all already play tree of savior but in about 1~2 fps :frowning:

so question is, does anyone knows if a Acer E5-471-30dg can run this? i tried to found something but i couldn’t.

giving a little more about it:
i3 5005
4gb ram
intel hd 5500 graphic

what fps can i reach with this?

Are typically not designed with games in mind.

we know that, but it’s what we can have :frowning: there is a long story and a good reason for that but i don’t think it will add much to the thread :stuck_out_tongue:

The specs don’t look good if you ask me.
You need a powerful processor, at least 8 gb of RAM and a high end graphics card to play this game on 60 fps.

with for me is too much for the game aspect

If you did not at least spend 1000 dollars on your laptop then you will not get fps higher than 60 fps.

You may want to go to a website that is dedicated to selling laptops and pc’s like Newegg or TigerDirect or even Best Buy and search under “gaming”. There you can find the lowest for you price range and expect that it will play Tree of Savior on medium settings hopefully between 40-60 fps. You don’t really want to drop below 30 in my opinion I don’t know how you can even play at 1-2 that sounds like an enormous strain…brainsplosion

Also consider that at release the specs for your pc may be higher than what is needed due to the optimization processes they go through.

I’m also playing on a notebook, fps around 10-30. I’m doing well most of the time but it’s laggy for small maps with concentrated mobs.

No not really i’m playing this game on “Radeon 5870” 4gb kingstonddr3 ram" Phenom IIx3" which is low end and i’m getting about 45-35 fps… So a good mid range parts will do the trick just fine ;D

What, I have 3 gb ram ddr2, phenom 555 overclocked to 3,8ghz and a gforce 9800gt and runs the game at 50-85 fps

Wow that’s impresive.,i wonder if it’s the optimization thingy ;D

when you reach that first boss at chapel 2f that spews fancy black smoke that turns the game into a 1 fpm puzzle game, ggwp. the game’s graphics isnt really that complicated, its just poorly optimized. they used the quickest but also the most resource-intensive solutions for effects. maybe modern solutions ideal for up to date systems.

A 1000 dollar desktop computer vs a 1000 dollar laptop can not be compared imo.
There’s a huge specs difference between those two for that price tag.

Always go for desktop computers when you’re a gamer.

I think for me it’s worth a try :stuck_out_tongue: You can adjust the reso to 800x600 den super low settings.

Unless you’re super rich and can easily afford an Alienware, or better, a monster like Asus’s GX700 =X

To be fair alienware and most pre built “gaming” computers are over rated and over priced. Building your own would cost less and be better.

Hey, but if you’re super rich, you’ll probably have both high-end laptops and desktops for your own, and the prices wouldn’t matter :stuck_out_tongue:

PS: never heard of anyone building their own laptops :open_mouth:

Well, i dont livr in usa, so pc aren’t that cheap.

I have a gaming desktop but that is at home, job gaming ftw.

I play at a 6 year old pc with not even i3. I think that a sub optimal pc can handle this game just fine. I was just asking ehat i could expect

The game isn’t well optimized atm so you can expect lower than normal fps. I have an FX-8370 @ 4.8GHz and a R9 390 running at 1080uw and I’m still on average only getting 50-80 fps. Sometimes dipping to 30 and other times spiking up to 150.

The Graphics card isn’t that bad to be honest. I have a MacBook Pro 12 which I use for gaming sometimes, and its Graphic card is a HD 4000 (which is close to the minimum graphic card recommended), and even though it lags me at times, I can play well. So if ur Graphics card will be a 5.5k I assume it’s better than mine, so at least u will have more than the minimum graphics required. The RAM I would say is “fit”, it will work, but just make sure u don’t have any other heavy program running on the background. About the processor, there’s nothing concrete I can say. Good luck.
