Low performance on potent hardware

I’ve tried both computers i have and the results are not pleasing at all. While being simple in graphical department, TOS manages to show worse performance than most AAA titles of 2015.

My main rig is i5 2500k (4.3ghz), 16gb of RAM, Nvidia 760GTX and bunch of SSD’s.
This setup provides 30-60fps, while most of the dips hapens when there are some mobs and players on screen. Also despite having SSD, loading times are quite bad - from 5 seconds for really tiny locations to 30 seconds when booting the game.

Other rig i have is an old laptop (c2d p8800, 6gb ram, ssd, nvidia 310m) while i did not expect it to perform stellar, it actually can handle WOW on low settings with constant 60fps. And guess what? TOS is unplayeable - 25fps in an empty field and 5fps in town.

I really wish you could improve these numbers as they are unacceptable in 2015.

It IS a beta… optimization not being finished… that being said, I have very similar specs to your desktop the 2 760GTXs. I doubt the second card is a difference, but I have had ZERO optimization issues, game loads quickly (aside from initial start of program) always ~1 second load time, never dropped below 60 fps even in the middle of town on Lamia server at launch time. Server lag, yes, but performance issues? no. It may not be as cut and dry as you make it seem.

Second GPU is a very big difference. The fact it is closed beta means it is perfect time to report problems players have. Please avoid making unconstructive posts any further.

As a comparison, I disabled SLI in my Nvidia control panel. Even running one video card (SAME CARD, my 760GTX is an EVGA) and extremely similar spec otherwise, I still don’t drop below 60 FPS on max, even in Klaepeda channel 1. Again, this definitely isn’t as cut and dry poor optimization as you claim.

Hi! I come from the future and the game is still poorly optimized
