Lost at lv. 182

Hi.

It’s been a while I haven’t played because of this, but since maybe 3 weeks, I’m “stuck” at level 182 and there is no more quests, I don’t know what to do.

I still love the game and I want to play it, but do I have to grind 25 hours a day to get 5% exp? I’m kind of solo, I only play with my girlfriend at the moment (which is the same level as me and sorcerer c2, I’m a doppel with a taunt, if that could help) and I’m sure I won’t go far if I keep playing alone. Can’t even complete the halloween event.

If you’ve got some tips, that would be great, thanks.

They’ve got the Halloween Event Dungeon now and also do the 175 dungeon. Gives some decent exp at best. Should be able to hit the 186 exp reset by then.

Oh woops my bad you already knew the event. If you have trouble, ask your party to drag the first two bosses at your spawn point, you can take them down more safely and not have to deal with the Necroventer.

Also study the attack pattern and animations of the bosses, a good look can give you a huge advantage.

Event dungeon is a good source of EXP. It is easier to queue for it than for 175 lv dun.

You may want to try farming

Because the EXP penalty has been changed and you will recieve no penalty for killing lv163 mobs with lv183 and 10% penalty for lv185 character. Just hit the EXP curve reset at 186.

Just doing event & mission daily should fetch u 2 levels. Once u hit exp reset at 186, you’ll fly to 200.

at lv 180 i grind at roxona east killing black collifly.

You could explore maps for xp cards, just to get you past reset.

Thanks for all your advices.

I’ll try again with a full party, it’ll probably be better with a healer this time…[quote=“atari, post:3, topic:335064”]

How long does it take, is the exp really worth it? I’ll go check that by myself but like I said, it’ll be hard if I have to farm 8 hours for 5% exp… So far, all the gain I saw from monsters were at best things like 0.01%, I don’t know how this could take me to lv. 186.[quote=“c2gaming, post:6, topic:335064, full:true”]

I was thinking about doing that, is there a gap or something needed between the maps I can explore and claim the exp cards? Like if I need to be at least 10 levels lower than the recommended to be able to get them, like quests.

level 175 dungeon

20characters

Nope. My lv 40 swordie was able to explore the lv 300+ zones and claim their cards. Couldn’t use the cards though since they had a lv requirement (Something I strongly feel should not be restricted by a lv requirement - Using the cards woulda put my lv 40 swordie to lv 200 just like that).

It was a good place to get 175 for those who used all cards too early before. It should be good with new EXP penalties to get to 186.

Also 175 is short but has a good EXP/hour.

at that level i usually do all the easy kill counts i see around my level for some cards, as you level up you will unlock new quests, for example at 183 you will unlock downtown, at 184 videntis shrine, this combined with missions, halloween event and daily cards from mercenary post (up to 5, i only do them when i can buy the items required from the market) should get you and your GF to 186, after that i will be very easy to reach 190 and farm dungeon 190 for a while, then you can continue questing and can start grinding at alemeth if you like (you’re bound to have some grinding if you want to reach rank8, the next wall of exp will be around lv 270>280 and i suggest you get there well prepared and with lots of cards)

p.s. alemeth is the best place to grind, after that the maps are worse, stick to alemeth for as long as you can without using cards and save cards for when you need to grind maven (imo)

buy an x8 tome and do the hallween evernt. when youre done youll be level 195. at this point, its a straight shoot right up to 315.

175-186 is the only place it ever takes me time to get thru. and who knows if that will remain true with the Halloween event. I’ll find out this weekend.
