Lost, Am I Missing Something?

I just started playing when I got out of work a couple of hours ago. I’m level 13 right now (character and class), and I haven’t hit a single quest since the one where they taught me about worshipping statues and the mini-boss interrupted it and attacked, this was at like level 5… Did I miss a quest somewhere and screw everything up? Or is it supposed to be a straight grind? I started in Klaipeda and I’m in the Mine right now, doing fine grinding but I feel like I’m missing something really key. I’ve read about there being a long line of main-quests and I know there’s a rank up soon, and I haven’t learned anything about it. Checked the quest log and its totally empty.

I feel completely lost and have absolutely no idea what I’m doing… If someone could PLEASE help guide me along here that’d be great.

Seriously? iirc if you got that quest and you defeated that mini boss who interrupted your worshiping then you need to talk back to the NPC who gave you that quest.

I made a second character and I chose an option to skip the intro the quest mark was there but they just wouldn’t give me any quest so I just left the tutorial land into the city asap. The Class instructor still works fine so i’m not 100% sure if you’re missing anything besides quest rewards?

I guess I spoke to him already, because he has nothing for me. Nothing being highlighted on the map, either. What would be next?

I think what’s next to that would be the hanaming guy? iirc it’s just around bottom right direction from that statue guy. Can’t remember the name though because I just remember things when I am in-game but right now I am at work so yeah haha

So I won’t be at any serious disadvantage if I skip these quests? Because I’ve gone around in circles for like a half an hour now, and I can’t find any… lol.

I’m in the Miners Village, currently. I tried going back to the starting map and retracing all my steps, and I still couldn’t find the quest I missed, so I just figured I’d continue traveling along

Actually as you progress in game the NPC’s don’t tell you there are quests you just have to one by one go to an NPC and see if they have quests for you ( like ones in field) I don’t know about town I haven’t tried surfing NPC’s in town

ahh… that would make sense then. I thought if there was a quest the NPC would have the icon above their head .-.

So should I go back and talk to everyone again? Or is it not worth it? Level 14 right now.

Most quests don’t show up on the minimap. Just talk to the NPCs in the field, most of them have quests. Especially if you see a bunch of people just standing around some random npc.

If you like you get rewards you could…? since you’re at the mines there are like a quest there

Yes, that’s the main part I totally forgot (When I started playing I didn’t even bother reading anything) I pressed Spacebar to everything :sweat:
