Loot cubes distribution

How many does a boss give out.

Hating that only the high dps players get the cubes. Imagine once this goes open beta, the higher level players will have monopoly on all bosses, including low level bosses. Not giving a chance to the lower levelled players to get a loot that they helped kill.

I think too that the cube distribution should be more random.
It’s okay to advantage big dps… but not by that much…

At least this game gives you a chance. Plenty of other MMOs, RO included, would only give loot to the 1 person/party who did the most contribution.

I heard it’s the top 6 DPS parties, so a max of 30 people.

Last time I went killing a Firelord, there’s only 3 parties there with two of them consist of bunch of high levels.
Turned out that I’m just a potato. Didn’t get anything at the end.

It’s the top 10 dps players. If partied, the 2 5-man parties that dealt the most combined dps gets them. If only 1 5-man party, the party gets a cube, then the top 5 dps players. If there are less than 5 players in the parties, just subtract the number of players in them from 10, and distribute the rest to the remaining players. If there are 3 4-man parties, idk, I haven’t been able to coordinate a bossing group to cooperate bc of that cube greed. Also bc of mob mentality/bandwagon.

It’s not necessarily parties either. I’ve gotten cubes from world bosses without being in a party before. Assuming I don’t crash from the death of the world boss anyways. The amount of FPS loss as a result of all the people on screen is going to be a problem before worrying about obtaining a boss cube. Expect nothing if the client dies as a result of the boss dying, even if you contributed enough damage to be a part of the pool of people randomly selected to get a world boss cube.
