As mentioned in the title. What are your opinions ? I’m Cryo2 at the moment, and im confused where should i head next. I’ve read that mixing cryo with linker is a good option, but the elementalist seems nice too. What are the viable options ?
personally I am not a fan of linker unless you go linker2, which by then youve commited quite far.
If you wanna go cryo2 ele3, there isnt any distinct synergy atm. All cryo2 really gives you is more freezing options, and spells to cast in-between your ele skill cds… which are disgustingly long 
Linker > Elem is nice but maybe u want to check this : Cyromancer + Pyromancer combo gameplay

No distinct synergy? so freezing enemies which makes electric damage do way more is not synergy. Got it.

Also magic mobs reks you pretty hard during stationary periods lol
Just that ice rain thing is annoying enough to pull off at times.
Trust me I went for cryo>ele thinking how good electrocute would be. Forgot about the cast time, was dissapointed.
Edit: in a party for groups of mobs, the most optimal freeze skill is ice rain with +25% chance. But thats not a cryo skill is it :((
*also i am still pretty salty about subzero shield being useless
well ya the CD is quite long, but on the other side the synergy of the other fire and ice skills are quite nice and have not bad CD. Fireball and Icebolt that have 15s CD + Flame Ground that have duration = CD, those should be spammable. I myself haven’t tried but looking at that, it looks interesting.
Elementalist itself has kinda long CD skills anyway.
