What if they decide to just release the beta on March 22nd for everyone. Also, the people who play in the first month get the bonus hats and free TP =D.

I would be glad with well priced packs, and also would be glad to buy something for myself as a celebration of the launch.
True, I’d be willing to spend my money even if the game were to come out for free for everyone.

What i can’t believe is how can a company let the situation keep worsening itself when the solution to ALL the mess is the easier thing ever to do.

Who wants to start first will start first, IMC gets their sales… hell even more sales than they would have had making it 3 months… how’s complaining about it costing to much just will have to wait 2 weeks instead of three months so i bet 90% less people complaining about it… easy solution.

I doubt they decided on 3 months because they thought it would be an incentive to buy the founders pack. They lack the infrastructure to host everyone and it will take time.

What i’m hoping for is that when they come out with a solution, and i rly hope they do it today or the forum will start imploding again like yesterday, they come out with a good solution… not with something like: “we decided that the headstart will be 2 months and 2 weeks instead of three months… there you go”, that’ll probably unleash a worldwide rebellion against IMC.
I still want to be positive and thin IMC is trying their best to do the best possible thing both for ToS and the palyers but… meh… i’m not 100% sure… just hoping they make me reach this 100%.
This should have been what they have done in the first place without announcing any type of founder’s early access… Most games that had any founder’s packages gave less than 3 months of head start and quite a number of exclusive items for founders.
Since it just happened a little time ago i’ll remember blade and soul headstart… it was three days if i recall correctly.
I myself played Blade and Soul. I do not think anyone complained about the head start nor anything about the founder’s packages at all. Also speaking about premium they do give benefit but they don’t really give that big of an advantage. But when you look at this forum… It’s like everyone’s lives depend on ToS all of a sudden.
Though just because of this news, it released the monster within people.
The only thing that made this thing such a mess is due to how IMC executed this, how they’re handling this, How people are too impatient, and how people think ToS ended up being b2p, and also how people keep forgetting that Cash shop exists.
that’s it… the headstart was fair, the founder pack was fair and the advertisment was fair so very little complains… as far as ToS is… even if it wasn’t 3 days but 3 weeks i still think very few people would have complained.
As far as Blade and Soul is concerned i only had one thing that pissed me off… the fact that only paying subscribers would drop money currency from enemies… would have been different if they had INCREASED drop, but the fact that only paying players drop money in a game where you got to pay even if you want to take a piss was very unfair.
Still awesome PvP tho.
ToS is going as it is atm mostly due to how IMC is handling things and due to people beeing completely blind to one another
I don’t mind even that 3 months head start, but IMC banged with this all of sudden, so ppl get pissed off. If they just said that there will be Founders, 3 months, etc etc, before that OBT annoucment, or little after iCBT2 mods would be better at all.

The problem is that IMC screwed this up badly:
if you can’t afford the full traffic on the server you DO NOT announce an OBT Soon just to shatter hopes of people after
instead of the OBT soon you announce a founder CBT with no wipe as the last CBT of the game before going into OBT
after you’ve done this things you announce OBT
This is how things would have gone smoothly even by following the exact same strategy.
Once they announce the OBT they have to keep their word tho, so the best and only thing they should do now that they promised both an OBT AND a founder pack is just give the founder pack as stated just by reducing the headstart time to the F2P OBT to some weeks instead of months.
If you complain about weeks not beeing enough to prepare the serves i can just argue, as a player/customer, that it’s not my problem, they took it on themselves by promising me the OBT and it’s their problem… if they can’t keep their promises i expect a TRUE explanation (far from the “we did it to prevent bots…” lie) and some apology for the broken promise and i’ll probably let it go and wait three months… that’s called “taking responsabilities of my own words and actions”
