Keep in mind that the Southern maps are all 1 star so you’re allowed to screw up there. Think of it as testing waters,for what’s to come.
If you suffer on these maps, refrain for going to the 4 star ones alone, you’ll have a bad time

I was sort of curious myself and just checked. I think all new mobs added are going to be either devil types or beast types. I didn’t see any new bug type monsters on the new maps though.
Majority of the races that were added in were Beasts (found heavily in forest maps) and Demons (found mostly in “wall” maps). The Insect monsters are spread a bit thinly but are mostly only on the upper forest areas (Pystis Forest for example has an “Orange Grummer”).
Majority of the elements these new mobs have fall mostly on Dark and Earth. Some Light monsters are found in the Lv320+ areas. Once again, +Holy and +Poison should have the upper hand (can’t really say advantage though, these new mobs are thick AF).

Was this for me? I did give him a valid example of where to find an Insect mob, granted it was one (1) example. Doesn’t mean I forgot anything…

EDIT: If you’re talking about “Plant” type monsters, they are a minority and was not mentioned in the sentence that spoke of the “majority”.
