Just thought I’d share some things my friends and I have found the last few days that have been helpful to us.

Login errors / Commander ID already exists.
Even if the ‘entering the game’ dialogue box disappears, it doesn’t mean login failed. Sometimes it just takes a minute to load you in game.
If you get the Commander ID already exists message, don’t give up on getting in. These steps might not be necessary, but they always get me back in game in a few minutes.
a: logout, and login to another server.
b: come back to your main server, and try to login as the character you want.
c: when it gives you the Commander ID message, click on enter game a few times quickly, then just wait…sometimes it takes a minute or more and it won’t look like anything is happening, but I’ve always gotten back in within a couple minutes.
Stats
I know it’s all the rage to focus on just one or two stats to optimize your abilities, but these characters aren’t permanent, and you can make your life a lot easier.
A few points in CON for an early level wizard can double your hp and give you a lot of breathing room.
A few points in SPI for early warriors can double the amount of abilities you can use before having to recharge.
Saying that though, complete STR based clerics have amazing damage, survivability, and healing, so don’t feel like you’ll be suffering all the way to a dps cleric build.
Quest bugs
If a quest event doesn’t start, or you don’t see something where you know you should see something, leave the zone and come back, go to your lodge and return, or just change the channel you’re in. This has always served to ‘reset’ a zone for us, and make things appear or run like they should.
If you can’t seem to collect an item (press space to gather sap from a bucket for example), it’s most likely just lag. Most of these items have a visual effect connected to gathering them. In the example of a sap bucket, you’ll see the sap drain from the bucket as soon as you press space. When you see the effect, don’t move your character, just wait. After a moment the collection bar should show up and complete. In extremely heavy lag, you may have to wait 15 seconds or longer, but as long as you saw the visual effect you can know that it’s working. Side note, pressing space again is okay, it won’t cancel your gathering, only moving will.
Party bugs
If you’re in a party, but it says you’re not, everyone returning to the main town then back to the zone seems to fix this.
This will also usually fix party chat disappearing.
Lag
If you’re experiencing high amounts of lag, but your channel indicator only has 1 or 2 circles in it, then click on the channel drop down menu. Sometimes the lag indicator itself will lag, and making it drop down seems to refresh it to current status so you know if it’s the game or you.
Random Stuff
In the chapel, if you see mobs with green names, farm kills somewhere else. No spoilers, but you won’t be able to kill many monsters in those rooms, there are plenty of other grinding spots, and you’ll find out what it’s about later.
Edit to add:
Repairs: Repair costs appear to be the same, whether you take one hit, or all your gear is below 30%.
you can focus on the dmg stat and since we can reset it’s a lot easier to lvling and then late game just do a balanced build for raid or pvp.
