This question goes out to all the linkers that are circle 2 and above. Spiritual Chain is supposed to share buffs and potion effects between party members, but it’s either not working or I am unable to see it’s effects.
Has any other circle 2 linker tried this and confirmed it works or doesn’t work? I have already tried applying buffs before and after using Spiritual Chain but there seems to be no difference.
Same to me man.Time to time it shares concentrate from hoplite to me but thats all.
Just using randoms skill in 4 man party.Skill sharing was randomed.Like I got concentrate , monk got guardian and etc.Also physical link it says it has 10 links but i can’t link my party of 4.I link only 3(me and 2 others).
As far as i know, your team has to be positioned properly, if not, someone will probably be left out of the link. Have you guys tried sharing potion buffs?
It’s not about positioning.Tested out lvl 1 spirit chain instead of 5 lvl and it works (at least it shares self buffs from hoplite to others : concentrate,guardian).I don’t know about potion buffs.Could you tell me where i can find these potions so I could test it?
I’m pretty sure the positioning of your team members affect whether or not they get linked.
As for the potions, I was referring to hp/sp potions. When you use them, you gain a ‘buff’ that shows hp/sp recovery. I heard spiritual chain is supposed to share these effects as well. I tried sharing enchant fire and reflect shield but it doesn’t seem to work. Or at least, I can neither see the buff icon nor the visual effect on my party members.
Does this mean that only other party members besides me can share buffs?
Buffs of other party members sometimes don’t get displayed (maybe related to Shout/Party Chat/Market being unavailable). Did you guys ask the other party members if they received the buffs or did you just check their buff bar?
I’m sitting with my mates in teamspeak so yes,I asked them.Spirit chain doen’t share aoe buffs like enchant fire.For now some skills are completely bugged.Especially some NODATA attributes for joint penalty,and phys link is working strangely.I get some problems when my party was not full.
Sounds weird, maybe the skill description isn’t accurate enough and it’s only supposed to share self-buffs or the skill is just not working properly.
Any idea whether the Physical link and spiritual link is fixed?
Right now I still can’t link my full party with physical link and i’m pretty sure it’s not positioning as my joint penalty and spiritual ink are linking fine.
And the buffs from spiritual link either aren’t displaying or buffs not working…cause i’ve been multiple parties and I can never see any buffs brought to me or other party members…
Are you sure the buffs you tried are transferred through link?
And physical link is simply harmful, I suggest you to never use it.

But so far I haven’t seen 1 buff that’s transferred. All the party members get is the extra spiritual link icon, but no additional buffs.
Reason 1 is not possible, as new buffs will just overwrite old.
Second reason is most possible. If you named the buffs you tried to transfer, maybe we could figure out if they are transferrable or not.
It seems on iToS very few buffs can be transferred, such buffs as Gung Ho, Sure Spell and some others can not be transferred anymore, if I remember right.
Well, i wasn’t trying to transfer anything in particular i guess. But i was just looking at whether any buffs were transferred over. But i saw none at all.
Really seems like a useless skill to be at the moment if so few buffs can be transferred…
Also, have you seen other buffs, that your allies used yourself? Maybe it’s just buff interface bugged so ally buffs aren’t shown.
But I can assure you that this skill working properly and at least transfer some buffs. For example, running shot can be transferred for sure.
I recently saw a video where Scout’s cloak (self buff) was shared through the link. It seems like only buffs that aren’t normally shared to the party will be affected by Spiritual chain
Yep, but now some single target buffs, such as gung ho can’t be shared anymore, according to the mechanics guide.
