Hey guys, I just came back into the game after missing it for quite some time now. Planning to start a new character due to the new updates that I’ve seen. Looked around for the topic’s build but it seems to be outdated. Can you possibly share what you guys have in mind for this? Thanks!

Lightning Miko/Taoist for Zaibas? With the patch, Zaibas has been nerfed to 81% of your MATK. Even with Storm Calling, Krivis users found it bad.
Is that like, really low? What was the % before? OwO And yeah for Zaibas I guess. I would like to try still even with the patch XD
It wasn’t percent before, as it is more of a +Skill ATK, which also scaled with int, which also means it will deal better damage.
Unlike now, it just sucks.
Here is an example of it. Take note that the mobs are earth type so it will deal less damage. However, he used Storm Calling beforehand and it was still low.
That kinda sucks. Well, I already used my returnee and DLC freebies on my newly created Cleric so I guess no backing out now :x
Just to add, I test Zaibas too (my build was Cleric2>Krivis1>Sadhu2>Druid1), and Carnivory lvl1 do twice the dmg of Zaibas lvl 5. Possession (lvl 10) do also more damage, so I find Zaibas really lacking right now 
But, I think you can still use it for leveling and reset your rank after that, when you find your build

I guess so. However, since the event for reset will only last for 2 weeks. I don’t think I will be able to test it that much since I have limited time to play due to my schedule haha. Any tips or perhaps inspiration not to drop this idea/class? Really wanted Miko/Taoist for their outfits tbh. XD

What kind of build do you want ? Just nice outfits ^^ ?
I think Miko still works, it seems the combo Miko Inquisitor is really strong (for Hamaya + the wheel)
For Taoist, someone with Krivis3 can talk better about it
Kinda really wanted to try lightning. But if there are other builds that involves both Miko and Taoist. That would be great. Perhaps a healer/buffer/support?

I think people are dropping Miko now because of the Hamaya nerf (I know I am, sad that). But the Kagura-Wheel combo is still in tact I think (i.e. Miko-Inquisitor). Plus Kagura is also a bit of a support skill (channeling).
It’s not like you HAVE to take Zaibas if you take Taoist. Especially now. Taoist will still be useful in parties with people who use lightning damages.
Miko isn’t that good on its own anymore, so you want to duo its Kagura dance with Inquisitor’s Wheel (but then no Taoist, RIP), or its Clap with Diev’s statues. If you ditch Krivis you can just go Dievdirbys anyway…
Taoist doesn’t have much synergy anymore though… so you can honestly just build your toon however you want and use those two as filler classes.
Also, some of the freebies can probably be traded through Team Storage. Go on the items and check if “Storage” isn’t grey out - if it isn’t, you can trade the items to your other characters using the storage. Team Storage doesn’t require a Token anymore to move items between characters.
Oh, yes, I was thinking to Kagura and said Hamaya
I see. Sad… well I’m really after the free costume haha oh well. I was actually thinking of Musketeer as well but I have no idea how Archers work haha
You can put some of the DLC items in Team Storage so I guess it’s okay.
Yeah. Just checked. Except the costume itself haha, sad. XD Anyway… Not sure if there are alternatives like Miko support/healer perhaps?
You could try Cleric1>Priest3>Chaplain>Krivis2>Taoist/Krivis3
or Cleric1>Priest3>Miko>Krivis2>Taoist/Krivis3 [with the option to advance towards Taoist at Rank 9 if you go Krivis 3, but the difference between Krivis 2 and 3 isn’t that big anymore].
The positive thing is that most skill of you will scale with SPR, allowing you to invest all points into it and level at a decent pace. If you don’t like it, you can just reset it at the end of the event once you’ve reached a decent level.
The difference between Chaplain and Miko isn’t all that big unless you got lots of matk, which could be a little in favor of Chaplain-autoattacking…
Priests Blessing will really boost that Talisman of Taoist since it adds fixed damage to every hit and that Creeping Death charm surely hits a lot of times (20x at level 5, 60x at level 15, 3 overheats; be ready to deal amazing amounts of damage just from the bonus damage xD)
Well, it depends on what you want
For the buffs, I think both Priest3Chaplain and Sadhu become really good !
You can heal with the Priest too or take PD or Kabba for that.
