Leveling FS in Re:Build?

I made a new account to try the fresh noob experience and I need some second opinion. I was aiming for FS Priest-Kabba-PD, but I noticed leveling as Cleric got slightly irritating. Not hard, not long (in fact it only took 15 minutes until I hit the first class advancement), just irritating and not fun. I can’t Heal bomb anymore and Cure is a bad damage spell, and I can’t invest on Smite either because I’ll need the point for Guardian Saint.

The question is: which should I take first to make the most fun leveling experience? Priest to capitalize on Bless and Sacrament, Kabba and level with Nachash and Merkabah, or PD to beeline to Black Death Steam so I can Incinerate things properly? (I also noticed the number of debuff accessible by Cleric has diminished)

Constantly buying and using sacrament and blessing from pardoners in town (purple speech bubbles) the second you enter klaipeda should still be a legit way to easily lvl up until around 170 even without any equip and a FS Build. Do the golden quests as well. They give great flat exp, exp cards as well as weapon and armor selection boxes from time to time.

I’d also take plague doctor as the first class choice in your build to have some dmg spells in black death steam and incinerate as well as quicken for the constant move buff.

Just give up on Cure and get Smite instead. Cure isn’t needed if you’re going Plague Doctor as you have Fumigate.

With the current daily 3 Class changes, there is no need to throw a stick in between your legs by going full support from the beginning. Just focus on damage and then change to support later when you’ve hit cap or at least 350+.

@Umineko I was under the impression that the 3 daily free class changes are part of the Re:Build launch event. I wouldn’t want to rely on a non-permanent feature, if able. Plus I don’t mind if it’s this difficult to raise an FS. It shows that Re:Build is truly balanced, unlike before where Priest3-Chap-Cleric2-PD can solo and support with equal prowess.

Also, does Gevurah count as a debuff? (Can be spread by Pandemic and increases Incinerate’s duration) If not, I might switch Kabba out for Oracle, seeing that Nachash and Merkabah is redundant against PD’s Incinerate and BDS and Sephiroth is redundant with Mass Heal. That being said, does Oracle’s Death Sentence and its slow attribute imparts debuff?

The x3000k daily refill is indeed part of the 30 day event.
But you can still use it to reset after that, as you don’t lose said points and are even capable of earning reset points very slowly with normal gameplay.

If I remember correctly, Gevurah was treated as a buff ingame for some unfathomable reason.
In general, Kabba isn’t recommended for any build due to it’s poorly balanced skill set. (and merkabah bug) So try oracle yeah.
DS is always one debuff, even with the slow attribute.

That being said, I cannot recommend trying to build from the mindset of a full support for this game.
This game has plenty dps checks, expects quite a bit of grind to make builds worthwhile (going to need to get high enhance attributes) and simply performs worse than a cleric build that doesn’t try to shy away from damage.

Though on the bright side, oracle can boost dmg well enough to allow a build to be both support heavy and still deal decent dmg if they add 1 decent dmg circle alongside. (like pd, which has nice support anyway.)

Well, there is one exception to that rule.
Priest/Oracle/Paladin should still offer plenty of dmg for a team, even if its own dmg is not that great. And it has good defenses, healing and utility to boot.
But it also needs very high defenses (read pimped out armor) to work well and as such is more of a late game option.

Also you can’t reset base cleric skills without a skill reset, so I’d highly recommend:
5 heal, 5 saint, 1 cure, 1 fade and 3 smite for anyone that plans to ever take up paladin. (doesn’t triple, it adds 80% so I stand corrected on that. thanks umineko)
or 5 heal, 5 saint, 1 cure and 4 fade for all other builds.

Cure isn’t needed on all builds ofc, since some already have debuff removal, but IMO having 1 cure makes your build more reset friendly.

afaik if it wasn’t changed, the damage boost is 80%.
The base damage is amplified to 180% SFR and then divided into 3 fake multi-hits with each dealing 60% SFR of Smite.
