Guys I just bought a pet and got a question related to its experience gaining; my main character is lvl 82, pet lvl 1, so should I exp him on main or create low lvl alt to level my pet?.
Second question" pet gains exp only when it hits or I can kill mobs and it will gain experience too?

just level him on your 82, he will level quickly.
But he gets lvl from my killings? Or pet needs to do damage to get exp?
I went with him to low lvl maps to try him, and seems he does not get experience.
Thats why I wanted to know hows pet experience system works to be 100% sure
It don’t have to kill.
just kill things yourself at high level maps and it will level up as @A1mighty said.
