Leveling 1-300 Guide

Cranto Coast and Igti Coast feel like better exp than Alemeth for certain classes (for example, Swordsman, and melee Cleric classes like Chaplain and Monk).

Reason is simple - more melee mobs that are easier to gather up and melee down. In Alemeth it’s a bit more annoying due to the flying caster mobs and stationary mobs that you have to go towards in order to AoE. Also the experience at Cranto Coast felt on par or superior to Alemeth but it could just be placebo due to having a better experience.

Another thing you didn’t mention is grinding the 270 and 300 Hunting Grounds. Those Hunting Grounds are extremely worth grinding for experience in a party and, in my opinion, probably the best places to grind if you’re on dungeon cooldown… but not many people know to try it out since the mobs hit so hard so you absolutely need heals.

Edit: 270 HG basically means, as a Cleric the moment you turn 240+ you can start requesting parties to grind there to get exp. I think you can be lower in level (220 minimum or whatever the highest mob is -50 levels), but the percentage of exp you get will be much lower.

Ah, yes I did not mention that because as I played it was too hard for me to grind there even with decent equipment at my level. I’d like to suggest players more newbie-friendly zones.

Also I don’t believe that the exp can differ in zones (except non-instanced dungeons). I pick grinding spots depending on the mobs spawn density.
Anyway, I’ll add more zones into guide once I’ll test them.

Level 270 HG is really easy with a healing Cleric and AoE. The exp is really amazing.

Bump, just want to keep this up and visible. Will be adding more useful info soon.

If u want more tips just let me know, i talked to u in your yt live stream and i said about 1-317 in 10hours and u said bs remember? xD told ya about portals n stuff.

so all this time i grinding in alemeth is a lie… :frowning:

Made 2 300+ (and a 277 one) level chars without questing and now im wondering how many extra stat points did i miss from quests :c

Yeah I wonder that too. I have “Doing quests for the first time” stream in the plans where I’ll try to complete as many quests as possible and find out how many stat points I can get.

Another thing that people don’t know is that the mobs at Sekta forest yield the most experience for that level range. While their density/population is mediocre, it’s not bad to stop by and kill some of the mobs, especially if you’re questing the Grynas areas.

u can get 317 in 10hours and if u’ll play with the toon a lot, go back and get the points, there’s a guide for them, otherwise it’s a waste.

Feel free to ask anything in this thread. I’ll probably upload another video within weekend.

You can still do the quest later and get the stat points that you missed after you hit 330, no? Please enlighten me.

Yes you can. In fact, it’s much easier to do quests when you’re 330.

I’m gonna make a stream on how to level up fast for a new player.

check Sekta Forest, the exp is really high and there are 4 spawn points full of monsters.

Would solo be about the same speed? Or it would significantly take longer/harder

I did all leveling solo, but doing it in party would be faster. I doubt you’d find party for every zone, so you’ll most likely end up soloing.

This was true last year. Only very recently dungeons are faster than quest

i am really curious about this, can you make special thread about this? and is your guide very applicable to newbies like me?

Thanks Unlocked.

So, I’ve been missing alot of info on ToS until recently.

Im just wondering:
How come it is much faster to grind than quest now? Long long time ago (mid-2016), it has been suggested by everyone that questing is much faster.
I know now adventure cards are shared, which helps with leveling. What else contributes to the fact that grinding is faster?
