Level 38, and i must grind?

Hello guys,
Im level 38 right now, im killing random monster in the level 40 zone and i have completed all quest of that zone, next zone is level 44-47 and i have spend all my exp cards.

So what now? i have to grind to level 42-44? is this allways that way?

Really i though doing all zone quests would be enough to keep going…
Did i miss something? im doind something wrong?

You did everything right  you will need to grind out the levels until the next area.
ToS has an element of grind

38? Hmmm I must of missed a quest somewhere I’m stuck at around 35.

Not sure if you did them, but all zones have some hidden quests that game won’t show you, you have to find them.

Talk to all NPCs always, on every map. There are even quests that start from interacting with environment.

First time I played in iCBT1, I missed a bunch of side quests, even though I KNEW there were hidden side quests, so keep that in mind.

Well i talked to all NPC’s twice, 1 when i arrive to the zone, and another one when i leave (to be sure).

Didnt know there is some hidden quests, are those from chests or something like that? i though all quests are obtained from npcs.

Grinding is a pain, to be hones may i get 0.5-1% per mob and killing them with a swordsman is really slow… (about 8-10 hits per mob)

Go do the quests in Orsha

hahaha save your xp cards, try to lvl a bit more before moving to next area cuz the main quest have a lvl requirement that you must meet to proceed
You can always do quests in the other maps for xp cards too

Thats interesting, how can i go to Orsha? never tryed it.

Try to get teleport scrolls or walk there, ive never been in orsha :c

buy warp scroll to orsha at the tool merchant

I personally dont mind grinding. I actually find lacklustre quests worse than grinding. :beers:

Are you surprised ToS has grind? you shouldnt be.

That was pretty much RO. Grind till you either quit the game or grind until you have to grind some more.

I’ve just surprised to grin at that level because i read from some people they got level 100 only grinding in dungeons

You shouldn’t have trouble killing with swordsman at all. It’s actually the fastest solo leveling class.

Did you get concentrate and gung ho? Did you get any attributes for both?

My concentrate and gung ho are both level 5, which is the max for me since I’m going with just the initial swordsman circle. Both are trained up to level 20 in attributes. So I’m getting near +100 damage from those two.

Attributes are important, so train them at your class master.

Another thing to look out for is what monster is weak to. Swap from sword to mace, if the monster is weak to strike damage. Keep using sword if it’s weak to slash. Abusing the weaknesses is extremely important, as well, if you don’t want to struggle.

At this level, you should already have access to some dungeons, no? If that’s the case, then go there to grind. It’s very very efficient. If not, find some places where there is a good density of monsters and hack’em like crazy. It’s actually pretty easy to level up that way

You shouldn’t have to grind at 38, as in real grind, sitting for hours just killing mobs.

However, you shouldn’t just rush through quests, either. Kill stuff, where it’s beneficial.

For example, I killed 500 hanamings to get black hair at the beginning. I was in the mood, so I kept killing more for the petals, since i know they sell well on the market later on. I got to level 15 and my first class change right there in the first zone. Then I went, changed class, came back and continued.

Did you finish all the repeatable quests in the miner’s village (There’s 15 in total, each giving you 2x level 2 xp cards, I believe)

i played ktos and i never grind that hard…mainly just for item drops, i reached lv 100 with quests. Look carefully for sidequest npc and do both klaipeda and orsha’s quest.

They honestly need to add Quest pop ups.

I think we had a poll at some point about this (Not sure if it was official one, can’t remember, it’s been a while). Most people voted to keep the side quests hidden.

I kinda prefer it that way, too.
