So I’m currently a level 192 corsair and finally unlocked the questline in Sentry Bailey. Just gotta say the mobs got a huge steroid buff. They hit for like 4k to me (the archers specifically) so I decided to avoid questing there since I’ve died 3 times already.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for grind zones to get to 210 or any other quest zones?

Ah Yes! Archer mobs, the very spawns of Satan.
FWIW, the monsters don’t like the archer mobs any more than you do. They’re always KS’in all the toons away from the melee mobs.
You must be wearing Leather. Switch to a Plate set to deal with piercing. I had the same agony when first entering East Roxona, the Glycquares (Sp?) were sinking 1.2k into me. Then I remembered, I shouldn’t be in Cafrisun anymore and it’s time to switch to Plate.
That’s a partial rememedy, the other issue is that is just a generally difficult area, and it’ll continue to be so from here on out. But utilizing the damage reduction system will definitely make things easier. If you really don’t want a full set of plate or leather or what not for each area. I’ve read that it’s just the top armor piece that determines your armor type. Some cheap 170 armor top should do if that’s the case.
God speed to you when you face those damned Blue Siphon Archers in Natasa. Their skill shot is brutal and they’re sponges.

Those are missile attacks, and not affected by general armour types. Unless I’m missing something…
It’s worth mentioning that if a mob is [6] levels and [11] levels higher than you, they get a damage multiplier.
I believe it’s +50% damage for [6] levels.
It’s 2x damage (on top of that 50%) for 11 levels.
So you’ll take around 3 times as much damage if you fight a mob 11 levels higher than you, compared to if you fought it on your level (roughly).
I might be wrong on the extra damage for mobs 6 levels above you, but it’s definitely A LOT more damage if a mob is 11 levels higher than you compared to 10.
I wore cafrisun from level 20~225.
I guess I’ve been playing it hard lol.
I switched to plate last night and the damage reduction is so great.
