Yesterday I found me and my friend talking about how worse the nowadays opening screen’s background image is than that beautiful tree which was in the game’s release…

The first time that I saw the background I felt so touched with the exploration song of the login screen, character selection/creation screen, but today it just feels like I’m entering a arabic night house with some semi nude dancers.

Jokes apart, what do you guys think about this change?

(have never seen anyone actually talking about this out there)

Well, I think the opening screen is pretty creepy due to Maggies artwork featuring those green reptile eyes, + they are slowly moving as if they were silhoutte characters who’ve been colored…

I vote to put the tree back in, but let Maggy’s characters straddle the tree instead of the sides of the screen.

I find the new loading screen far better than the old.

When it first released to jtos there were a lot of threads of people asking for it to come to our version as it was so much nicer.

Subjective opinions really. But there was a v large number of people that wanted it over our old bland one.

I think it would be cool to have multiple opening screens like the current one. I like the “new” one, and having even more of the characters would be awesome.

Old one was bland, but new one is kind of unnatural. I love maggi’s art but the whole shift style animation is bit weird for it.

I’d prefer just a spread artwork with like particle effects or a scene using the normal character models or something.

The current one looks like absolute garbage. I cant express how much I dislike it. Its like some random noobie newgrounds artist made it and needs to be deleted and user banned for making something so terrible.

For reals though, its so bad lol.

I don’t really like the new one too. It is somehow more fancy but I do miss the old opening screens. I googled the old ones and found that the CBT one showed Fedimian as background, the kind of forest one, the tree one…

It could be actually nice to have random opening screen on load or something new from time to time. Simpler backgrounds/screens doesn’t really get old but for me when there’s more details it gets old fast ><

The godess at the right has creepy red eyes or it’s just my shitty graphic settings?

I like both versions btw, just make the red eyes go and give us MOAR characters.

Aight. I’m cool. I mean, it’s not like there’s a whole blunder of changes around the corner. It’s not like there’s exploits, cheaters, botters and endless time sinks and P2W to talk about.

Maggi’s art is very pretty, but the goddess movements are rather unsettling…
