Hi, my nickname is Vezzath and im from [SA]Silute.

I’ve always been in love with classes like Dragoon and this has been my main class ever since.
I currently use the configuration Pelt1> Hopp3> Dopp1> Goon3, and I’m very satisfied. I use a 2H Spear to deliver the strongest combos and 1H Spear + Shield for control.
So…

1)With the latest updates, [Pelt2] in place of [Dopp] has been a better deal? In PvP and PvE view.
Anyone who has used both builds, can tell me about your experience?

2)Thinking of a Rank 10, what do you think would marry better? A Shinobi or a Retiarius cycle? Another class?
For what reason?

pelt2 just gives you guardian lv10 + attributes which alone makes it much more worth than doppel (never played the class so I can’t help you more than this)

I’m going down that path myself but stopping at r6. If I go goon3, I’m just another dps that I won’t main anyway. So I ask myself what utility can I bring that starts out as pelt2-hop3? I already have a squire so that leaves either a thief (corsair) or a commander (templar). I’m really just holding out for centurion to come back. Please? IMC? Centurion?

maybe pelt3hop2 instead, to be a very good tank that can dish out dps

Utility? Who needs that? Just get the one with nice outfit and cool skills :stuck_out_tongue:

I switched from Hop 3 to Cata 3 and I’ve been loving every moment of it, movement speed is to underrated for farming, especially when you are hunting elites or farming material. Once we get to Rank 10, I suggest taking Retri 1 for the insane pierce debuff, aoe pull and a heavy attack with 3 overloads. But be careful, you can’t use those while mounted. As for me, being Cata 3, I’m probably going for Pelt 3, you get some awesome aggro boosts or Doppel 1 for the double chance + Dragoon Fall combo.

My indecision only increases because any change seems interesting, but leave as this, also seems good business.

Finestra and Stabbing on lvl 15 are a great help, and Doppel’s buffs make a big difference in the final damage on Dragoon’s combos. If I withdraw Doppel and put Pelt 2, I change an offensive advantage by a solid defense.
On the other hand, if I use Pelt2> Hopp2> Dopp it seems something very interesting, although those 5 points less in Finestra and Stabbing make a lot of difference.

As for Rank 10,

Retiarius with its pierce debuffs and control , plus the Trident Finish, looks pretty good to me.

At the same time we have the shinobi style, whose clones make possible the use of dragon soar, which in turn has 3 charges, imagine the damage…

The opinion of each one of you is collaborating in my final decision.

I’ve done a reset, and I’m testing Pelt2>Hopp2>Dopp1>Goon3, I’ll see how it goes.
