A stupid player (me) has a lvl 298 character and wants to participate in a seasonal event. So I go to the nearest event board and fat finger the event… getting a chest in the process instead. I check again what that was about… “level up chest event”. Well cool, that must me amusing I think. I click on the chest and get told…

“you must advance to level 300 to get your prize”

Fine… I go and complete a few maps and level up to 300. I click on the chest again, and get some yummy cookies! Since I love cookies, I decide to milk that chest and get all the cookies I can get. But wait… I’m level 300 now, so I can use those lvl14 exp cards I was storing for this moment! I go get the cards and spam them… level 301, 302… 311, 312. Wow nice, I should get a truckload of cookies now! I make a quick calculation and that should be six possible rewards right? I click on the chest again, and… WHAT???

“you must advance to level 314 to get your prize”

My cookies!!! :sad: /me go hit head against a wall…

I forgot to open that chest a lot too while rush leveling on the first day of the patch lol. At level 330 you only need to level once to open it again and I think I only opened all at 352? Meaning I forgot to open it around 12 times

IMC handles their events as well as they handle the game, which is to say, poorly.

Small tip, even if you hit 300, don’t eat your cards just yet, do dun 300, each time you finish you will Lv or almost Lv, then use cards to reach next Lv and open the chest, then again, not sure if it is like it was on the first 5 days of event where every place close to the dun npc there was weeds and statues around, and if you are luck enough you would get a new players buff inside the dungeon from someone.

When you hit the 7th chest you get 3 multiply tokens, on the 8th I think you get more 3, so waste 2 at time, and if you didn’t hit the Lv to get the next 3, you either do runs without multiply tokens or use some cards, I did the runs since you get lots of dun reset vouchers.

You will be around 330 on R9 with some SPs (skill points) and some cards to spam after all this, not to count the 2 1k attributes points voucher on the last chest.

That’s a good idea lol. I finished some errands with the char and hit 314 to open the chest, then yeah every time you get either instance dungeon reset vouchers or multiply tokens, enter and spam dungeon 300 runs for 60 mil xp each (180 mil with two multiply tokens), so now that char is level 326. The good thing is that for this dungeon the waiting time is often less than 10 seconds even not instant… and often you party with level 350+ chars which greatly speeds up the dungeon clearing process.

Oh and almost got a (heart) stomach attack when looking at the description of the cookies it was written “Fortune cookie (14 days)”. Come on… timed cookies???

But no, there’s no timer under the cookies, so that’s only a typo… :satisfaction:

From now on don’t forget to open it every level you get. Do not fret though, up until 330 you’ll get good exp if you use the prizes you get from the chests.

I’m wondering if everybody remembers to get the chest… The reward for the last stage is 2x 1000 attribute point voucher, which in itself is amazing. That’s 2mil silver saved for attribute points…
