Let's discuss about stat system

Hi all, with the new Re:build system, stat allocation will be automated and increase with each level. For them, it will benefit the role of each class, reflecting their characteristics. I believe that it will be beneficial to new players, it is easy for them to mess up, but it will be bad to active players, because they seek performance, not role play (the most of).

An active player, that is starting a new class, will be going to prioritize the maximum DPS as possible to leveling up, than will change to full CON to survive end game content and PvP. It will be always this way, because it is the most efficient way.

Change this is to give up freedom of choice, in exchange for easier experience to new players and better control from IMC to balance classes, and control of the game.

What I liked the most about ToS was the freedom to build just the way I wanted, but I always ends up messing up my build, which let me with two choices, restart a new character or pray for rank resets. Than I started to search for builds already made, know as meta builds, giving up my own freedom in exchange for better performance. I think this happened with everyone that played this game before.

So, analyzing the current state of the game, I think this change will be beneficial overall, because we need more people basically, and minimizing the chance of a new player quit the game should be considered.

I’d like to suggest an alternative for current players, I know it is too late for them to consider it, but why not require stat points for equips ? It will give some reason for the player distribute their stat according with your strategy, Plate and heavy weapons using STR, Leather and light weapons with DEX, and Cloth and magic items with INT, and a special item for summoners requiring SPR.

Next problem they need to fix is the leveling process and quests, it is beyond surpassed. A new player will take decades if he follow this confuse quest line.

uhm…you know that you can get a lot of stats from GEAR, right? and can kinda build arround it?

Hi, I meant stat from the player for using an equip, like you need 300 points in STR for use a high lvl piece of armor.

I do kinda feel bad about losing freedom to allocate stats. I myself have shifted all my toons to full con because I firmly believe con is the best stat and dmg mainly comes from a good transed weapon.

But that clearly changes soon, so while I am OK with all the rest of the incoming changes, this one is what I dont like the most.

This exactly, they killed the stat by giving weapons so much importance and its even worse on a system so broken and ridiculous where u can either run out of potential at +9 or end up with full potential and +40…

They should lower the damage % comming from weapons and lower the enhancement cap as well to something real, like +16~20 as much

CON is the most important stat in the game because it’s the only one that gives HP, the most important stat in any game. HP determines whether you win or lose. If you have 0 you lose, if you have 1-80,000 you’re losing, if you have 200,000+ you’re fine

The only things they could do to change this is add HP to other stats as well or increase base HP pools so much that CON just gives “Extra HP” simular to how STR/INT just give a little bit of “Extra attack” The main way to get Attack or Magic Attack, is your weapon. However the main way to get HP is through your stats, your CON.
