Leticia's Secret Cube Item List - Apr 17, 2018

Hi, my boyfriend and I bought some cubes and our final result was 1 x5 diamond anvils, and five others x1, so yeah, the x5 Diamond anvil does exist, but is far rarer than x1, I have no screenshot to provide, since I didn’t know it was a visual bug lol

Good thing all PVP content is going to have normalized gear soon, so all this P2W will be for content anyone can do, and meanwhile PVP wont be affected.

Well that would just be the same for practonium, then. But it has its rank B border with no issues. x5 Diamond Anvil may or may not be rarer than other Rank A items but so were Giltine Wings and you saw those instantly after its gacha release. Does nexon show drop rates of leticia like they do with the gacha?

The multiple Practonium comes in a box, which is a completely different item.

I see what you’re saying now. I don’t think it’s strange at all for people to be paranoid from that visual bug and I’m still not exactly convinced but oh well :tired:

@Bhikku what do you wanna bet that people miraculously start getting x5’s now?

Yeah I’m not sure how I feel about this.

On the plus side it’d be a bit crazy if +5s were easy to get… we’d start seeing some insane upgrade levels. On the other hand it sucks to pour so much money into the game and suddenly realise that “3%” is a bit of a trick and tells you nothing in reality.

The average buyer would expect them to split the items evenly (or at least reasonably) across that 3%, but they obviously haven’t. Which means the odds of getting a particular item in that group could be, say, 0.01%. That 3% descriptor immediately becomes meaningless. While it gives the impression that you have a fair shot at getting any item in that 3%, that isn’t true in reality. Things could be squeezed in there (and have been, it seems) that are so impossible to get that they would never have been a motivation for you to make a purchase if you knew the real odds.

It isn’t false advertising because they never said otherwise, but it’s a fairly greasy sales tactic. This trick is something to be wary of in the future.
