Leaving dungeons needs to be reportable

@balintszabo111 …what?

@Evergrey yes, I agree, but only if you are reported. People just have a negative connotation with the word ‘reported’. It allows people to forgive you as well.

Let’s say you are playing with your guildmates and someone comes to your door and you are AFK for 30 minutes. They could choose to not report you and you would be just fine. A completely automated system would punish you though.

@Kenshiki That’s a fair solution as well. I still think it should not be entirely automated for the same type of situation I described above. There needs to be some way to prevent people from repeatedly ruining others’ instances.

Being delayed on entry also should be logged. If you’re getting this delay every day you are playing, it means you are ruining a dungeon run every day you are playing. This is not acceptable behavior. Simply delaying the next chance they get to do this later that day is not enough.

From my experience anytime I’ve made light of having no healer and rushed in(I’m a DPS) people have stayed in the dungeon and if it looks bad we just boss rush, or we do full and take about 3-4 bonfire sits the whole way. It sucks but we took that gamble by sticking with matchmaking.

Once I did accuse someone of leaving though when they were just a really slow loader, felt pretty bad afterwards.

Dungeons and missions (as least the only two people actually do) are absolutely able to be completed with almost any group. They are not tough. When 2 people leave, however, it becomes very hard to complete them in the time frame just due to how slow the clear will become. A positive attitude and good teamwork will allow just about any 5 man team to finish a run easily.

I don’t like queue-matchmaking. I don’t want to rely on it. In the upper 1xx branch in Orsha, it is necessary though. There are a few parties for 130, which was nice when I was there. No one parties for 145. No one even DOES 160. It’s a nightmare to try and party up.

That sounds… really entitled and childish, I’m sorry. If there’s hardly anyone partying at those dungeons then why are they so gung-ho to waste their dungeon run as well as those they’re with because they didn’t get a healer? Just stack up on bonfires and expect 1-3 deaths, it isn’t THAT bad… and it’s not like doing a dungeon doesn’t give you repair money. I mean granted I’m not in the 1xx dungeons yet but my experience from the 90 dungeon with matchmaking hasn’t been so bad… 50 was stupid though.

Have you tried offering to set up your own party with shouts? I’ve seen people doing that for field dungeons… I prefer the auto matchmaking cause I get more exp that way but if every party just ends up rushing I’m better off just trying to organize my own and take the 150% loss.

Edit: Wrong use of word, just woke up recently.

It is entitled and childish. I’m totally with you on bonfires. I stocked up on 100 bonfires pretty recently and have been burning through them like crazy (get it? hohoho i’m so clever). I don’t mind dying. I don’t mind resting. I don’t mind having 5 swordsman. I mind struggling to get through a dungeon because 2 people decided their time was more valuable than mine and left.

The main problem is typically finding a healer at this point. They all want to do matchmaking because they know any party they go into will be able to clear since, well, they ARE the healer. I get their perspective; I really do. I don’t blame them at all. The current system in place though is not good. Dungeons matter too much at higher levels to be wasted.

If you could at least vote-kick people who have been offline for over 15 minutes that would help immensely, but there’s literally no system to protect players from people just going in and hopping immediately out. Of the ~10 people in this thread even one of them clearly admitted to doing this kind of stuff unapolagetically.

Yep, I actually need to restock on them when I get to play… my meme dagger sold so I should have no issue with silver for awhile. I get annoyed when I don’t get revived by a priest I won’t lie but I won’t be rude to them. I’ll ask them to revive me, if they don’t I go to spawn and use my movement speed buff and try to get back as fast as I can. (I really should carry leather armor on me for when this happens.) I can definitely see where you’re coming from… With one missing which is what I had, the dungeon was still doable. Rough, but doable. Two though, egh… Unless someone’s using god-tier equipment that won’t be so… yeah.

Well a lot of people shouldn’t EXPECT to get a healer in all honesty. That’s why we have bonfires… I don’t know how alchemist potions work but they’re better then what you can buy at the store(and I stock up on those too, regardless of how overpriced that dang SP one is.) I won’t lie, the fact there’s NO punishment for doing this is very… poor to say the least.

Yeah I just saw that post… Normally I’m against these kind of features but if the game tried to ‘queue’ people with healers that’d take the risk out of the auto-queue system and appease the cry babies who do this to begin with… so a penalty system for abusing it would be much better. Can’t really make it up for those who got screwed out of their run though, there’s too many ways open for abuse.

i have 300+ hrs logged and a lvl200 and 2x 100+ lvl characters and i have run a LOT of dungeons… nobody has left once.

A suggestion a friend had was to allow people to invite a friend into a dungeon to replace a ditcher or regain someone who disconnected without an entrance penalty on the party of the invitee. It’s not a punishment, which I actually would support, but it at least mitigates the loss on the part of the people who got affected by it.

Congratz, you are pretty lucky… I have 157 hours and had to do at least 4 runs with less people. Have you been playing healer by any chance?

Yeah I personally find this amazing, but hey, people win the lottery.
