is there anything in those DLCs that mention “playablility” as part of them?
And as i said - service is provided for free and you didnt pay for it. Your claims will have no power in court.

Well, I disagree. You may seem to have no experience in this matter. Again, you’re mistaken.
Well. Good luck wasting your time and money on this process. Please do post the result if you decide to go through all of it.
P.S. Maximum what you can get is a compensation for “lost” token time. And even then that it is better to bring the issue to IMC customer support first when server stability problem is solved.
This thread isn’t bait, its just stupidity in its’ rarest form.
You can almost take anything to court. The only problem is that in most situations like this for any kind of game, the game company wins most of the time if you’re actually not prepared for something so serious. Even if you are prepared, you’ll most likely lose a lot of money in the process for how it works. IF you do get your money back, it’s not going to be the same amount that you lost for doing all of this. Just the amount that you payed for the packs and maybe a little more.
There’s also the problem that you’ll be trying to take a law class action against a company in another country. Which’ll make things a bit more expensive as well as complicated.
tl;dr - You can pretty much sue for anything, but unlikely to win unless very serious. Not much benefits either.
If he does win the process which is highly unlikely then the other side (IMC) would have to pay all fees and expenses (excluding you playing for a lawyer’s help). And good lawyers aren’t cheap.
The only compensation I want is being able to play the game in my region (SA)
Even though, I still believe the service provided so far, It’s a disaster like I’ve never seen before in a MOO.
I kind of agree, but at least make a report ticket with the problem and the way you think you (and other people with the same problem) should be fairly compensated for IMC’s consumer abuse. give them time to respond, which might take some time. if not properly replied you can shove the case to the lawfirm.
I agree with your view though, prices are way to high for what they give you in return and if that service isn’t even able to be used than they should pay for that.
Have you even tried to file a support ticket?
The game is free. The “service” you paid for is actually in-game items, which you were able to retrieve unless you have not been able to log in at all. Also that’s a cross-border lawsuit. I’m afraid you’re not winning that one. No international court is going to waste its time with this bullshit.
no you didn’t you paid for bonus items, nothing more.
Agree. I know that as I had that mentality before years ago. The more you know
Well, now they’re moving SA server, that’s good, it’s a step forward.
Go play on other servers if you really just wanted to play.
Problem with SA is that the players will never be satisfied. You were just fine playing in your original servers, but asked for your own because EU got theirs. IMC gave you your own server and free transfers even. Now you guys are complaining because your server got ■■■■■■. I don’t see players from the middle east and AU whining about having their own server. No matter the server, their ping will always be over 100 and they don’t care. They’re just happy to be able to play.
South america is a gold mine to TOS. North america and EU together can’t get even close to the player base we have here, that want to play this game. Ragnarok online was a huge hit here and a mark in the childhood of many. It’s on their best interest to do a decent job At the start of the f2p release our server was filled with players 24/7. But the connection issues made people leave the game. The two dead US servers should show how the decision to bring a server to the second largest player base in the world (after southeast asia) was a good one. We needed one extra server when f2p was released, but instead we got issues with the one we have. They killed their chances at one of the best markets for this game.
And the servers are THEIR responsibility. I don’t see blizzard’s servers with issues like that. Even Grinding gear games has brazillian servers, on a game less than half as popular as TOS.
Their only chance now is to fix everything and hope that the players waiting for translation still want to play. I’d say that there are more people waiting for Level Up to release their servers than people playing in the SA server on steam;

On top of that most SA players bragged about how their got no bots and no gold sellers and try to rub it and other people faces on the forums and now look what happen.Even right before leaving Orsha and Klaipeda which is let me correct you
NOT US servers but are INTERNATIONAL servers how those 2 were going to die and crash, spam huehuehue and it seem like you guys got exactly what most of you shouted.I am not saying you guys deserve it nor that IMC is doing it on purpose but I strongly believe in karma and it looks like SA got served.
Regardless I hope SA gets better in time because no matter what, people deserve to have TOS running smoothly but faith seems to give SA a hard time for now.
Like my parents would say “People come and People go”,that’s how life is.You can’t please everyone in life.IMC is trying to fix as many problems as possible, after all they are humans like us not robots.
“most SA players”???
or most of the idiots (that you can find in any server, any game, any place in the human race)? Why would you judge us for the actions of a few? There are stupid people everywhere, but when they speak another language it’s easy to take notice.
And I was not telling you that Orsha and Klaipeda are dead to offend you or any of the players who play there, but as a fact. Something to remind people that South america is not the dead market it once was. Thanks to blizzard we are on the map, and people here can show gratitude when receiving the respect they deserve as human beings.
I started days after the f2p release when I was just checking steam for new games. I remembered that a friend told me about this awesome game he was waiting to come from korea, and I decided to play it. I got addicted, got myself a DLC pack to support IMC, even after the problems in the release.
Now I got a response to my ticket about a bug where I can’t see or use the chat, and my friend list is gone. There are a lot of people with the same issue, posts on the forum, and the ticket response was for me to “ry to relaunch the game from Steam”. Are they joking?
I’m a Forgiving person and wish the game to do well. I’m addicted to it now; But how can they fix anything with a support like that? if we stay quiet, they will think it’s all good, and nothing will change.
No, you couldn’t be more wrong. If they open a SA server, it should work, there’s money involved, its a buisness and I am a customer, not recieving what I paid for, not being able to even log in. Server problems are not of my concern, it’s theirs. It’s as simple as that.
Now, if you don’t make yourself worth as a customer, it’s a completly different issue.
The last data i saw had NA and SA 1% apart with NA in the lead. I think its safe to say they are about even. So unless you have new data that says otherwise you need to get over your self.
