Latin America deserves its own server

Has come to my atention that we represent 26% of the population of the game as shown here: https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=298 .

It is too hard to have a real nice play-time in the game or in this forum because of the great number of xenophobic people all spread around the current server, and is well know that, for more diligent that a staff could be, IMC will never be able to interrupt that.

An internetional server, should be designed for all countries to play together, but that’s obviously doesn’t happen. (be the impatience in language >as it was a server designed for a specific region or many other examples)

Futhermore, we already have to deal with a lot of Gold Sellers that (even if the mentioned bug caused by STEAM did not happen ) will destroy the economy in time. Alongside, we have to live with “spammers” in every single channel of the main cities and / or in the global chat (that should be for interation of comunity at his own way and not for spam).

Moreover, I can’t see so much difference in a payment bug exploit and a payment for illegal purchase of silver except that the first one you can resolve easier.

The presence of a so huge number of bots it is also something that concerns the comunity, and divided in a small number it would be easier to control. It is also musty that the most of them DO NOT COMES FROM South America.

We do not deserve this kind of disrespect.

If IMC plan to make a wipe after what happened, it would be your chance to create servers with an IP BLOCK for the non-latin-america. It would be even better for a future transfer to a closer Regional server with lesser ping (that’s a point that the community also have to discuss).

Thanks.

I’m up for a Latin American server BUT PLEASE, create a server just for brazilians. The rest of South America will be grateful.

You probably are not a Latin American, and is glad that you don’t represent the will of our community.

This iracional though is exactly the reason for the election.

Why are you guys spaming the forum with this old stuff?

There will be a brazilian server, with no eta, outdated and probably with a really bad management, but there will be, and there won’t be a LA server (by LA i mean every LA country exept Brazil) , there is no reason for one, not enough population and god, 80~200 ping is not a decisive factor since this game is like 90% client side

About the community, bots and all the other stuff, the more i stay on this forum the more i think the LUG server will be actually the best one, no chinese bots, no american gold sellers, just a bad management :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry, but I’m from South America, we know about the fame of br players and their behaviour in every mmorpg that they play. What is the bad thing about br getting their own server?

I wonder how many of those 26% were actually real players and not ghost steam BR accounts created to exploit the DLC exploit.

Not sure but it might have happened AFTER the server went live.

SA server is coming but i will stay on international ^^

So hilarious USA players hating the br ppl and ONLY br ppl :ocean:

Many people simply prefer to play in a global server. You do not represent all Brazilians playing. Even if the IMC create a Brazilian server, many will still prefer to play in the global, ask to block IP is hypocrisy.

more than the amount of neurons in your brain, that’s for sure :v

Ah, this does deserve a quote. Probably the reason why reputation is so hard to fix when people contribute more of such stuff every now and then.

This 26% was previous data, has nothing to do with the current exploits. Buying many packs imagining the problem would happen here because it happened in one game before, out of thousands, is the clear definition of lucky investor.

Until exact data and confirmation is released we can’t really speculate. Given the nature of the exploit, it can be done prior to the release of the data above since IMC allows us to buy the DLC and download the game before it even releases in late March.

Hence the data above is questionable. I do know that SA community is huge, no questions about it. But percentage will sure drop given the nature of the exploit since players are already able to purchase all 3 DLC a week before the game opens.

c’mon man, don’t be so serious, anyway, the thing is, IMC has stated that this exploit is not that bad, so you can asume that it’s less than 1% of the current 30% of brazilians, really, your comment, if not naive, can be take as a “i don’t belive that there are actually brazilians playing this game, i bet they are all exploiters” and so would lead to some bad reactions, anyway, hopefully you can take a better look at all the numbers and get that, yes, Brazil is indeed the biggest community of this game right now, and this exploit was abused by very few (my guess here, but probably less than 100 people), so don’t go with this “BRs are a toxic, yada yada” thing, there is nothing but this dumb speech all over the forums for a while now.

oh, and… the brazilian tos facebook page got like, 60k likes, so yeah, the community is huge, there are no illuminatti conspiracy, brazilians do exist and hey, they have money to buy a game and are also humans who enjoy playing and having fun with others :v

Nah I’m not against Brazilians or anyone in nature. I just don’t advocate exploiters, botters and toxic people no matter which part of the world they are from. Am not the type who like to “paint everyone else the same color”, there are good and bad folks everywhere.

Brazil is a fantastic country with deep and rich culture roots, I would really love to visit it someday. But really, given the recent events, their online image is sort of tanished by a selected few. I do hope that the other ToSBr friends can help raise back the poor rep caused by these trolls. At the very least help them to gain awareness that their behavior is causing strains to BR’s image to the rest of the world.

USA is also the same, all the mudslinging towards BR players too made their reputation go down the drain. Both sides just seem so childish at times lol.

We all want the same thing, to have fun in ToS and hope it has longevity. As fellow players with a common goal, don’t mudsling others just because one find it is fun. Be gracious, let topic titles be “Hey I would like to thank some cleric for healing me while I was being CC’ed and almost killed by mobs” rather than “I not happy with some other folk cuz I hate them”.

Cheers bro~ :3
