Langort doesn't block?

I want to discuss Langort, the Peltasa C3 skill, and its mechanics.

It appears to be a 3 or 4-hit piercing type skill.
But, It doesn’t seem to block.
Not on physical attacks, and not on magic attacks, regardless of timing. (slightly before, exactly the same time, or slightly after).

I tested with the lvl 2 langort silence attribute.

Anyone know how langort is supposed to work?

I’m considering Peltasta C3 and would also really like to know more about this skill and what the block actually means. Can you use it from the active blocking stance maybe?

several of us peltasas have discussed this skill.

  1. it’s a 3 hit piercing hit skill
  2. you can’t use it from blocking.
  3. as for block and silence… it doesn’t automatically make your block 100% chance during the animation. In fact, it would seem that the base rate of blocking does not increase during the skill. So, basically if you happen to block normally during the use of this skill, then you have a chance of silencing the enemy. As a dex build peltasa, I’ve seen about zero blocks using this skill, and definitely no silence proc, even with lvl 3 attribute, testing with lvl 5 langort. that being said, after eating a skill reset potion, I left it as skill lvl 1.

Sorry to disappoint.

Peltasa C3 is a huge improvement (disclaimer, I haven’t tried other options at that rank) over C2. Butterfly is a ridiculous increase to dps, and continues to 1-hit most things for me, even at lvl 106. Armor break does good damage, and makes wacking things easier, as everything now has zero armor… langort is useful as a heavy pierce hit- just wish it had overheat.
