I was actually expecting/hoping atleast a christmass feeling like in ragnarok but TOS style…with snow in the city and all

They can’t (because they don’t know how) even optimize the graphics and engine and you want them to add more effects? lol
If you want snow in ToS, go to the northern regions.

Even if they were lazy, they can just recolor the fluttering petals at Orsha and call it a day, only drops my fps by 2-4 out of the average 30ish, given there’s no more than 10 active players on screen.
…Or chuck the blizzard effect files of those maps to the main towns right?

Which with the current pace of patches that add more bugs than fixes, it probably would cause heavy crashes, imagine every single city crashing due to bad effect implementation?

They can’t because they have full of works already (fix bug bug bug bug bug bug … re balance re balance re balance… & set gacha) Even we have only 2 town right now lol.
I kinda doubt that. Could someone remind me when a useful update came since the R8 one? None, I think. Except some that basically translates to “Hey look, token gives more thing, you can now break the market’s economy, buy buy buy”.
Now, how much did kTOS got, for the exact same game and content? Eh.
We could even talk about jTOS. Why do they have better things, after, and faster?
If there isn’t a good update announcement (and by good, I mean the latest kTOS ones, with buffs and fixes at least) by Monday, they really aren’t giving a single damn, and I’ll give some less too for this game.
KTOS & JTOS is faster than us because they have publisher. And seem like that publisher is a capitalist of IMC. That why IMC need to work for them 1st (or they just don’t have worker left) that why they don’t have time for us. not even can fix about simple bug.(but upon I see in the last event the havest they can fix something about money relate pretty fast lol)
well it’s just imo anyway.

You meant KToS and JToS right, JToS have Miko already, but at the same time, they are full of bugs, they can’t open sockets in the gear, can’t fit gems in the gear, can’t upgrade gems…
Of course, Nexon is probably pressuring IMC to fix the crap they do with their own patches.
I don’t expect anything anymore from IMC, for me, ToS is fated to bleed till it die, and i will only go back on what i just said, IF IMC show real results.
I still play the game, but every now and then, just do a small check on my Pard selling its buffs, or sometimes when my friend call me to play with her.
Other than that, this game lost its shine for a while, at least for me.
Now i am waiting for a new interesting game, or a miracle happening with this game.
I think the first case is easier to happen.

That. And since IMC cant just copypaste the fixes on steam itos due to steam (so they said), we wont get any of these fixes in time. They need manpower they dont have. And apparently, Nexon comes first due to the contract.
Its like having an employment and working as freelancer at the same time. One is a have-to, one is a can-do. One gives fixed money, one gives something something and even less as the time passes.
IMC thought it will be easier and work out with just copypasting ktos. Didnt work like that. The Steamplan highly backfired. And we suffer from that.

I totally agree with @Nirimetus that they can’t change something related to old maps. I rembered I have read somewhere they said that they know some bugs in the old maps but can’t fix it cuz it belongs to the old and deep layer of the game. They rather make new maps with fewer bugs 
However, I have an idea that why don’t they create a monster or NPC that looks like the xmas tree and summon it in each town? They can add new NPC to oldmaps without bug as they did before with Halloween event

My bro still plays RO renewal for ET runs with friends and he says they have 250% exp event for all right now.
How come TOS exp bonuses/events/whatevers is only in restricted 3x dungeon runs and limited time dumplings?

To be fair RO ET is once every 7days, compared to our 2 ET daily.
Good thing about theirs is that they go with a 12man ragtag half assed party, cleared or not it will sure be a fun run. Ours can only go with 5 decked af hand picked meta builds or GTFO, runs mostly are purely for farming business.

Exp events have been a feature of RO from the very beginning, as far as i remember. Those usually last for a week. Usually it is given at occasions like Christmas, Halloween, Anniversary, etc.
… and i still feel RO is more grindy than TOS
It would have been better for TOS too, if we have some exp events like in RO.
RO tho, have so many content you can enjoy doing for a week, not just ET
you forget they don’t work weekend. By that i mean even the “Server support crew” are on weekend break :^)
