My game is having this extreme delays and lags since 3 days ago. Its makes it impossible to play my class due to this

I tried to do everything to fix but no luck
-Restarting my router
-verifying game cache
-reinstalling
-changing to an ethernet cable

same, equipping armbands seems to make it worse as well

Having ‘fast’ internet doesn’t always mean you will have good latency in-game.

Some questions:

  1. Would you mind typing “//ping” without the quotes in in-game normal chat? Tell here the results.
  2. Have you played other games at its SEA server too? Is it playable? If yes try this:
    • Try to find a good VPN to use before playing the game. This might improve your latency.

Oh forgot to put my ping.

1.) 0.235794 - 0.280456 (Never understand this type of ping if its good or bad)

  1. Actually this is my first time playing on a SEA Server. For other games. Ragnarok Online (International) comes to mind which is on US ( I think )
    -Never tried using a VPN for gaming or how it works

//ping gives the delay of your actions in seconds. Thus, your delay in SEA Server is between 0.235794 - 0.280456 seconds; The lower the number, the better.

Your ping will be better if you are geographically nearer the server’s server. Meaning, SEA Telsiai server is located somewhere around South East Asia, which is ok to play here if you are located in South East Asia. This will also apply to other servers.

Since you are located in SEA, it might be your Internet Service Provider’s problem, or it’s IMC’s.
Try Searching for a good VPN to maybe temporarily fix your ping issue.

really bad

0.120 or lower is alright, i play this game from aus and my average ping is around the same as yours, i cut it down to 0.090 - 0.120 using pingzapper or mudfish

search for some VPN’s and find whats right for you.

lag issues like this occurred after the last 2 maintenance though

back before the last 2 maintenance it wasnt like this

This was recent.

I think they ninja changed hosts or something related, or could be that our ISP changed routings/had our own set of problems.

I never needed to use mudfish for like a year (below 100 ping) but recently like a few days ago, I have to use mudfish everytime or else my ping would be over 300.

@STAFF_Letitia i also confirmed with a lot of players from different SEA countries that it takes time to load guild emblems that it shows a white space in the character’s guild profile

This was happening to me on klaipeda server. Would like to note I was playing swordsman Pelt3Rode3Murm Shinobi and was also equipped with an armband. Was grinding in Sausys Room 9. Restarted the game and the issue went away.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the issue popped up again though.
