If they actually banned RMT like advertised things coul’ve worked out.
But now since we get that it’s no use(the idea was good just imc couldn’t pull it off from their part), lifting the restrictions simply is the best option.
Good riddance on those untradable craps.
From looking at the complaints in this thread, I guess what hardcore players do in ToS is opening and rerolling cubes trying their luck to complete an untradable set. Are these people on the cult of RNG worshippers or something?
I thought hardcore players are:
- People who hunt for every single adventure point
- Players who know most things ingame and figure out the game secrets, like hidden quests
- The ones that create a mathematical model out of the game system to help players optimizing their builds
- People who are the best in their respective fields, either PvE or PvP
People that farm all day to get and reroll cubes are just plain old farmers and grinders. If you insist those farmers and grinders are hardcore gamers, then a gold farmer could be called a hardcore gamer too.
RMT KNIGHT FOUND
The only people who don’t complain are the ones using RMT.

I like cbt(1) as well …back then …it was fun
also lost ark (kr) will be out in 2018 (since they will do several cbts) …so english. the fastest prolly in 2019~2020 …still long time to wait
You’re called WHALE KNIGHT…if you don’t prefer the term fertilizer.
Will spend money on costumes and shiet, regardless if trees are burning down and Laima is dying.
I don’t mind being called whatever, call whenever you see me or something. Its my money, I can do whatever I want. Also I do care about those bug and stuff, they need to fix that (as what I mentioned in other thread)
There are several types of hardcoreness …not everyone is like you mentioned above.
Also those rerolling cubes probably the type that likes to do it themselves? maybe?
At least I’m one of those, prefer to hunt them myself rather than buying, (also trying hard to complete the collections …which didn’t complete yet T_T )
godspeed brother

I am still salty that TOS did not implement a way to trade talt for gear like so many other MMOs which has different token drop from each tier of instance to guarantee some gear even if you are unlucky enough to roll nothing constantly.
Even if it was totally overpriced such as 3000 talts ,we would still be ok, but here, they didn’t do any research on modern mmo or western market preferences etc…
if item like virtov or lolopanther arent supposed to be tradable, atleast make it trade among own alts
also, remove entry limit for RNG thingy like virtov, not like RNG is not hard enough, theres still entry limit
woot~ TOS is so freaking casual~

HUE
listen here idiot, the fact you can sell these recipes means RMT users can get endgame gear with mommy’s credit card
try reading the thread before having an opinion
Where you have endgame stuff on 220lvl? Rank 7 will be the last rank in the game to the very end? You know I’d rather throw the old set on auction for a few million than to the NPC for a few thousand. Actually they can’t use “end game stuff” right? So what the problem?
All this rant and crappy posts don’t look on one - Did new Rank 8 end game stuff will be tradable? If now then where you have problem?
100% of everything in this game can be bought from RMT and/or afking for silver
ALL successful mmo’s have “raid gear” which can only be obtained from hard work, NOT from mommys credit card
anyone who disagrees is either retarded or doesnt care about RMT which KILLS the game due to imc’s server costs forcing the developer to increase more pay-to-win options just to break even
god sakes its almost like noone here has played a mmo before and knows about the rise and fall of a company
You only play WoW joe?
WoW isn’t the only game with Bind-on-Pickup mechanics (Rift, FFXIV, FFXI, etc)
I understand where he’s coming from. Making end-game gear obtainable through simply trading instead of being required to do encounters does take a lot out of the efforts of players who work hard to beat end-game bosses.
Thing about ToS is that most bosses are fairly brainless and easy, so I don’t feel like its a serious problem right this moment, but if IMC ever decides to implement extremely difficult encounters with a weekly limit or something like that, then yeah I think BoP and BoA for those bosses would be better than simply allowing the items to be sold, trivializing content.
